Made it so townspeople show up right away instead of doing it slowly while increasing farm level. This should make the town more lively from the beginning. Tasks are still unlocked with farm level. We have a revision pending for each task to make sure the resources involved make sense. Bugfixes: Fixed farm names in "Find Farms" not being filtered when text filtering is enabled. We're also adding some small but useful improvements, as well as some bugfixes, and the next seasonal event, that will start on June 12th and last for 14 days, adding summer-themed items and rewards. New content: New Content Pack: Explorer Pack New Decoration: Kennel New Road: Train bridge Added new glasses variants. Improvements: Improved autotractor behavior when the active tile can't be interacted, but the surrounding compatible tiles are. This is specially useful on square areas, as you no longer have to move back and forth "cleaning up" side and corner tiles. Moved current mode indicator to the left of the screen instead of the right. Made it so the item being placed has priority on the UI over the item on the current tile. Also item level is now shown while in placement mode. You can now select items from past events in planters and decorative signs. Improved minimap zoom behavior. Now it's more intuitive, and you can use the mouse wheel to zoom into a specific point. Improved sorting so event items are shown together. Animals are now spawned in a more organized way. Should help with big animals piling up when spawned. Removed "Available" sorting from the Fence category, as it was doing nothing. Added a "Category" sorting for Buildings. Bugfixes: Fixed production buildings having the wrong capacity when leveled up (smaller than intended). Fixed controller/keyboard UI navigation issues in specific cases when event rewards have not been unlocked. Fixed unlock and level up notices order being mixed up when new popups are enqueued. Fixed animals growing twice as fast in specific situations. Fixed Camera Auto Rotation setting not being checked when loading the farm. Note that exiting Early Access isn't the end but just the beginning! We will still be working for a long time in the game, adding new content and features, and doing our best to listen to your feedback and keep improving the game. Improvements: Automatic tractor will now place roads and fences one tile at a time instead of 3. This makes it easier to place corners and surround areas with fences without the need to stop and reorientate. Fences can still be tricky to place, but better than before! Fairy light source is now faded when transitioning between day and night. Added a 25% option in town shops. Added an accesibility setting to limit automatic tractor work speed.This setting makes the tractor slower in case you feel uncomfortable with the usual speed. Gameplay changes: Increased feeders' food per resource bonus from +20% to +50% (this means animals with feeders will require less resources to be fed). Decreased resources required in some production buildings. Decreased amount required to exchange some resources for medals in town shops. Changed diamonds->medals and coins->medals exchange ratio in the Money Exchange. The Money Exchange was intended as a way to convert some surplus to medals that could be useful elsewhere, but it was not meant as a way to replace other ways to earn medals. Bugfixes: Fixed fence orientation not updating when changing directions in automatic mode. Fixed plate and pedestal not showing event items. Fixed split screen player position not being updated in online games when the main player was sitting in a decoration. Fixed full width character preview not working on text input dialogs. Fixed bug in chat filtering that triggered the filter in specific unintended cases. New content: New path: Worn out path New house floor: Worn out tiles Improvements: Most filters (such as sorting method in the shop, or filter in find farms) are now shown as a pop-up dialog. Moved the "Travel to Town" button to the lower right section of the map. Added a setting to disable weather effects. Added a setting to modify action popup duration. Updated networking engine version to the latest one available. This should help with some issues. Specifically the "not being properly notified when the host leaves the game" bug is fixed. Request rate limit issues are better handled now.There was an issue with this beyond our control on Wednesday. This change wouldn't fix that, but should be easier to understand what happened. Bugfixes: Fixed accepting changes while customizing showing an unintended pop-up dialog in specific cases. Fixed wrong permission handling when recycling empty tiles and moving things (was intended to be Build, it was requiring Full). Fixed pets falling through the ground when entering a house at the same time the pet was jumping a fence or a hill. Early Access Update #88 - Small updateMay 5, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsIn today's update we're adding a few variations to some buildings such as the quick travel post or the fuel depot, as well as fixing a bug with the recycle confirmation UI. New Content: Added new bus stop (available in the Carpenter shop) and quick travel post. Added new color variations to the fuel depot. New fence: Reeds Improvements: Added two new loading screen tips for petting dogs and fence selection. Bugfixes: Fixed visual bug in the recycle/flatten confirmation prompts. Early Access Update #87 - Small updateApr 30, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsIn today's update we're fixing a few minor issues and adding some things. New content: Added 2 new roads: Gravel Road and Cinderblock Road Added new floor for the house: Gravel floor. Improvements: Decreased controller vibration amount when walking on water. The how to play section now shows all loading tips at the end. The "long press" button confirmation progress now starts a bit further, so it's more clear that it requires a long press when just doing a quick tap. Gameplay changes: Reduced amount of mushrooms requested on quests. Bugfixes: Fixed chat not working properly when mapped to the Enter key. Fixed menus being unusable when opening your own profile page with a controller. Fixed potential softlock with cloud/save conflict pop-ups while playing. Fixed crash when using the new fence selection tool on specific farm corners. Fixed time not advancing properly when using sleep/resume in an online farm on the Steam Deck. Fixed specific cases where the Last Cloud Save date would be set back to "Never". Early Access Update #86 - Small update, and price increase noticeApr 25, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsToday's patch fixes a couple of issues from yesterday's update, and adds a quality-of-life improvement to fence selection. Improvements You can now select a continuous row/column of fences by double tapping the move/delete key on the same one. Only fences that are the same as the selected one will be chosen. Bugfixes: Added collision to Dragonfruit tree Changed text chat action to be on-press again, instead of on-release. This change was made to avoid some issues with Steam Deck text input dialog. We've solved it in a different way, so it can go back to be on-press. We're also taking the chance to announce that the game's price will be increased soon. As we're coming close to the 1.0 release, we're increasing the price to what will be the game's final asking price. This change will be done probably next week, so now it's a good time to get the game at the cheapest it will be in a long while.Early Access Update #85 - Woof!Apr 24, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsIn today's update we're bringing a bunch of changes and we're approaching the final stages of the early access period! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44878975/245fc6d49c9544eb213d5cfbc91d892c1b595da7.jpg The main feature is the addition of Pets (Doggos only for now, but don't worry, cats will be coming soon!). Our furry friend will accompany us through the farm, carefully watching over us (or just lazily sleeping!) while we do our thing. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44878975/2e18fd5ea271c2610707c36ba6c34dd9ee9cce03.jpg You can customize your pet with several body types, sizes and collar tags. And you can pet them if you do an emote near them! We're also adding Cloud Saves as an experimental feature. Although it's intended to be used for Cross-Platform save support once the game is available on consoles, this can also act as an additional way to store a backup of your farm. It's designed to be as unintrusive as possible, and will never overwrite any data without your consent, but you can get warnings depending on the behavior. It should work fine when using Steam Cloud at the same time, but we'll be on the lookout for potential issues. There's a bunch of quality of life and new items as well, so check the full changelog for more details! New content: Added customizable Pets (Dogs for now, 8 different dog types). New tree: Dragonfruit tree (2 variants) New production building: Tomato Canning Machine Improvements: Decreased vibration strength when walking on plowed land with sprinklers. A warning is shown when trying to load a save with an older version of the game. You can now go back to the title screen from the main menu. This is useful if you want to change the main controller for split screen. When chat is disabled, a pop-up is shown when trying to use it. You can now mute specific players, so you won't see their chat entries. Decoration event rewards for different events are now better sorted in shops, instead of clumped together. Added loading screen tips. Important confirmation messages (such as recycle or delete farm, etc) now require a long button press to confirm. Added a special UI while placing glowsticks that should help when drawing pixel art. Gameplay changes: Increased Quest rewards for high level farms. Decreased price and rewards of Easter Rabbits. The difference in price will be refunded for each rabbit placed on the farm. They were never intended to be a main source of diamonds, and more of a small bonus to the main sources. However, we want them to be affordable for low level farms during events, so we're also reducing their price. Adjusted Mushroom duration and income. Bugfixes: Fixed wrong look of balloon harvest. Fixed full width character preview not shown in the chat box. Fixed some issues with Steam Deck and text chat (hopefully). Fixed wrong details in house jobs UI in specific cases. We're also adding a new Easter Fountain reward. New content: Added Bunny bonanza fountain reward as a decoration for the farm. Added Easter Rabbit as a reward for the event. Improvements: Lowered permission level required to pay farmhands from the Union to "Build". Added a way to close access to specific shops in Farm Settings->Custom Permissions (only while in-game). These settings will affect every visitor except the ones with Full permission level. Added per-language thousand and decimal separators.Most languages haven't been changed yet. Gameplay changes: Decreased diamond reward of Easter Rabbits. Bugfixes: Fixed very specific situation where item level UI wasn't being updated properly. Fixed bug when moving sprinklers visiting a farm with high ping. Fixed menu lighting colors being wrong after exiting a farm. Harvest lots of Painted Eggs and celebrate the arrival of spring with pastel-colored decorations to spruce up your farmland! The event will last until April 23th (Wednesday), 17PM UTC. This event will be available for two week, featuring plenty of errands to fulfill, and lots of rewards to unlock. Have fun! Early Access Update #83 - New songs & new roadApr 8, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsToday's update brings a couple new songs to compose on the piano, and a new road to decorate your farm with. New content: New songs: Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker New road: Elegant road Improvements: Added Season sort mode to the crop/tree shops. While sorting just by season isn't possible due to multiple seasons for many items, this mode allows to see allowed seasons for all items at a glance, which should help when looking for items with specific seasons. Bugfixes: Fixed a minor bug that could cause players to slightly slide in random directions when performing tasks. We're not sure if this is what caused the "getting stuck on the mine" bug, but we believe it was. These lines can still be seen in the Quest Log.They were purposelly greyed out, but it could cause confusion and reduce readability of the important ones. Slightly increased font weight. Slightly reduced transparency of background on longer item names, and changed color background to brown. Decreased thickness of the Cocoa Tree. Early Access Update #81 - New Quest UIApr 2, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHi! We hope you had fun seeing your animals taking a stroll around the farm and enjoying a bit of freedom yesterday! Today's update brings a new, more compact look for pinned quests. This allows us to increase the number of quests shown on screen. Improvements: Changed look of the Quest progress UI. Up to 8 quests can now be pinned. Improved a bit GPU performance in town. Added a key with every resource's name in the Inventory section in the pause menu. Bugfixes: Fixed farmhands not being teleported properly when moving their stall. Fixed having lots of production buildings placed causing other sounds in the vicinity to not be heard. Improvements: Increased towsnpeople paths length a bit so some areas of the town are less crowded. Increased permission level required to use the Collaboration Hub from Plant to Build. Added statistics for Production Buildings in the shop window. Data wasn't being stored before this update, so it will start counting from zero. Bugfixes: Max favor is now properly enforced upon load so cheaters can't affect other people's farms beyond the standard limit. A small note regarding cheats and mods: You're free to do whatever on your own farm, but if you start messing with other people's ones by using any exploit, we will take action. Fixed Flowering Cherry low poly model having a position offset. Fixed potential case of clients not seeing other players moving after a farm change. Added a minimum 15 seconds delay when re-joining the same farm to prevent getting errors for reconnecting too quickly. We're also adding new minerals, paintings and some train-related decorations. Finally, we've upgraded the Unity Engine to a newer version. While this shouldn't be a problem, please report any issues you may have. New content: New town building: Travel Agency. 3 New minerals: Malachite, Opal and Obsidian 2 New paintings: Pig and Sheep. 2 New farm decorations: lifting barrier and train stop. Improvements: Upgraded Unity Engine version to 2022.3 . Let's hope nothing breaks! Added guestbook icon to the map. Performace improvements when generating the map. Minor CPU performance improvements. Shouldn't be noticeable in most cases, as the game is usually GPU bound on PC. Reorganized buttons in settings to have a little more sense. Action popups will no longer show when you're on the pause menu, the shop, etc. Bugfixes: Ticket expiration time is checked when determining when to renew it. This should help with avoiding TicketExpired issues with extremely long play sessions. Fixed render scale setting not being applied properly in splitscreen. Renders were more pixelated than intended. Fixed farm intro not being shown properly when render size isn't 100% in split screen. Fixed being able to play a deleted farm when it was the only farm you had. Fixed house job popups not showing the resource boost when it's active. Several arabic language fixes. Fixed not seeing any kind of message when a controller is disconnected while playing in splitscreen. Added a third setting to camera behavior on teleport. Changed its default value. The setting will need to be re-assigned if you want a different behavior. Added some missing variations to the town customization items. Bugfixes: Fixed a few arabic text issues. Fixed failed action prompts not being shown.
