Culture The Culture system includes regions where countries can emerge or rebel. Currently, the Country Panel, Culture Panel, and Map Editing UIs are new versions. Editor Logic Improvements When switching to different editing options, the corresponding view will now automatically switch without needing to adjust administrative map transparency or background map type in map appearance settings. After closing the editing panel, the map will revert to display according to map appearance settings. II. Province Editing Features Update Added a regenerate province button and average province cell count option in the province editing panel. You can adjust province generation density by modifying the average number of cells per province. III. Interface Tooltip Improvements Added numerous editor-related tooltips. Hover your mouse over buttons to see their usage instructions. IV. New Map Editing Tutorial 1. Map Mechanics: Based on Voronoi diagrams, each province consists of multiple adjacent polygons (cells). A province is the smallest unit that a country can occupy. Therefore, provinces need to be edited before countries. 2. Editing Sequence: Open the global command panel and disable autonomous diplomacy and rebellion to prevent countries from attacking each other or engaging in diplomatic actions and rebellions. Generate a height map, which can be edited using the brush tool. Generate a biome map based on the height map, which can be edited using the brush tool. You can also adjust ecological parameters to automatically generate biomes. Generate a province map based on the biome map, which can be edited using the brush tool. Generate a country map based on the province map, or place countries to occupy each province. Enable autonomous diplomacy and rebellion to start the game. 3.
