This summer, we will release a new version of DPS, fast, convenient, with lighting/shading, and an improved UI. I covered most of actions with undo/redo functional, it remembers last 10 actions. The intricate processes of drawing (polygon, paddle, arch) remained intact, but in the editing mode everything works. Import / Export effects. There are two buttons on top of Presets tab for saving and loading effect libraries. The default library is located at the root of the DPS folder (default.dpf). If you save your library over, it will be loaded every time you restart. Preview scaling. In the bottom right corner appeared a slider resizing previews, the smaller the size, the more of them will be placed on the screen.New rotate and scale.Jun 19, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsHi, new rotate tool allows to define the point around which rotation applies. You may move it using drag&drop, than hold left mouse button to rotate selected layers. Buttons with specific angles of rotation moved to top additional toolbar. Old enlarge/reduce options became scale tool. Union and substraction are available on top additional toolbar in move and rectangle selection modes, so texture browser enabled in all modes, and it makes possible to change textures using context menu on previews always. Think it's last UI update, and next updates will improve functionality, first of all undo/redo.Polygons union and substractionJun 9, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsNow it's possible to merge and subtract polygons. It works with layers and whole groups. You will find buttons on bottom transform panel in move and select modes. As I see it works fine with realy complex shapes even with holes. Some details: When you union selected layers, all selected plots, elipses and polygons will become one polygon. All layers contain old figures except one will be removed. When you subtract, all layers except subtrahend will be modified if subtraction result is not empty, otherwise they will be deleted.UI Improvements.May 31, 2017 - Community Announcements New UI have two main goals: 1) get rid of unnecessary clicks when switching tools 2) unobtrusively reminiscent of hotkeys Improvements have touched not only the upper toolbar, now DPS remembers last used folder from previous tool and returns to it again after switching. Tilesets cobobox moved near to the folders list, and although there is less space, I think this arrangement in more logical. Object toolbar now contains flips buttons and scale slider. The rotation tool is still removed, please use move tool to rotate.
