Dumbass Drivers

A charitable update!Jul 1, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsHello again! Thank you for purchasing Dumbass Drivers! both in the current summer sale, before then and after then! We said we'd give 50% of opening month sales to charity, so we're grateful to everyone who picked up the game in May :) Charity Donation Thanks to you, 79.25 GBP (just over $100) was raised and has been donated to Hand In Hand For Syria, who give front-line aid to victims of the conflict in Syria. We rounded it up to 100 GBP and sent it off a couple of days ago (see the picture below)! Thanks again, to you! There was a lot of tragic news about Syria in recent months, such as a targetted attack on a convoy which left 68 kids dead, but in the final weeks of development, some inspiring stories of work by UK charities including a vast number of ambulances being driven from the UK to Syria got our attention...folks who are anything but dumbass drivers! Although we couldn't find a way to donate to those charities, we chose Hand In Hand For Syria, a registered UK charity, who have people out in Aleppo helping those severely affected. So thank you for supporting charity, and hopefully folks in Syria, through your purchase of Dumbass Drivers! http://www.screen7.co.uk/junc/handinhand2.jpg Find out more about this charity, the work they do and support them for yourself here: https://www.justgiving.com/HandInHandForSyria Game Update To Version 1.0.3 An update to the game today, which includes: 1. Nitro boost. Now you can get back into the race quicker, and perhaps win some with even the Dinky. Keyboard users press and hold Space to deploy a boost! XBox controller users, press and hold the right joystick to deploy boost! Note: "Change view" has been moved to a press of the left joystick. Nitro will be available at all times. It costs a little money to use, so be wary in the earlier stages of the game about how much nitro you're using! It will be hard to turn left or right when using nitro, so it's often best to deploy it on a long straight. We are continuing to balance the difficulty of the game with the new nitro feature, so there may be another small update in the near future to correct or modify this a little. Your feedback is appreciated! 2. Sound effects added across all races and missions. For a more atmospheric race! There are also a few minor fixes, barely worth noting... Good news - we have made some progress on the rank bug issue. However, it is not yet completely fixed, but is working a little better than v1.0.2. We will continue to work on a full fix. This update went live at 14:30 on Sun 2nd July, roughly 146mb in size. Please be aware there may be further small updates to 1.0.3 after today's update.
