Short Update on the PlaytestMay 2, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello everyone! A short update on the planned Playtest: We are still working on the playtest build. English translations are expected to arrive soon but we still need to implement some changes. We've been running some internal QA sessions, got feedback from some external playtesters and some German Youtubers which we still want to implement to create the best possible experience for all of you. We want to get things right. And we want you to enjoy the game. That's why need a little longer. We are expecting the playtest to start in the next two weeks. That also means that you can still register for a chance to get an early look at Drova!Register now for the upcoming playtest!Mar 7, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsIt's announcement time! Drova - Forsaken Kin has come a far way. After years of hard work, we're now getting to the final phase of development. And we want your feedback. To further improve our game. To get your thoughts. To give it the final polish. To create the diamond you deserve. And the diamond we want to release. That's why we'll be doing a Playtest via Steam. We have unlocked the registrations now. You can sign up for it. The playtest will start around mid April, so you still have some time to sign up and to prepare yourself mentally for a grim dark world which has not exactly waited for your arrival. A world, while unwelcoming, yet in need of you. The playtest will contain roughly 10 - 15 hours of gameplay. And you will be able to see a small part of the open world, interact with one of the factions, solve quests, fight monsters and meet characters who’ve got better things to do than to deal with you. Talk to the NPCs in the hub area and find out about their problems! Here's a gameplay of our former gladiator Bady who can show you a few tricks on how to climb the scoreboard: Solve a quest and become immortal! Go on a paper chase before Thursday night to craft a talisman and you will find yourself mentioned in the main game itself as well as in the credits! Help a cute couple, play songs on a Lyra and draw symbols onto your talisman. You don't have to be the first to solve the paper chase for these rewards!
