It’s so nice, a family of birds have even moved in! Fixed an issue with the location returning from the bonus room in Harrowing HeightsFixed the bonus room warp object in Treacherous Trek warping you to the starting map instead of the proper bonus room Stopped the giant saws in Treacherous Trek from clipping into walls Fixed two spots in Lava Labyrinth where rails and poles didn’t line up right Fixed the Comfort Grid orb in the starting map having collision on while invisible Fixed an issue with our packaging process that was causing some game map data to be missing We’ve also temporarily removed the ability to switch the language from English. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you’re just coming on now, we’re happy to have you ːsteamhappyː Here’s to another year of blastin' through levels, smashin' bots, and givin' Gearheart what for! *clink* Improvements Level signs better convey your completion info: -show end-of-level flag on the big star to signify you’ve beaten the level -show bonus room coin on the small start to signify you’ve beaten the bonus room -show the best speedrun medal you’ve achieved for that level Arrow signs now bob back-and-forth in the direction they point. They’re so excited to show you around! Chains on flying drone holds are twice as thick “Skip tutorial” orb in starting map is easier to reach Added a particle effect that plays when you grab a pickup Made signs, path markers, and some handholds more efficient to render Fixes: Now with 50% less ear bleeding! – Adjusted volume and attenuation settings on many different sounds to make them quieter Fixed a bug in ghost race recording that would only keep your ghost data from after you returned to the level from a bonus room Pickups spawned by pickup spawners are now properly concealed by the poof cloud Spinning glow effect in starting map no longer casts shadows Level Tweaks: Earthy Entry - removed gaps in starting mesh grid and added arrow signs pointing to flag Climber’s Calamity - reduced Bonus Room timer duration Firey Falls - fixed a bee clipping into a wall Daunting Dangle - increased Bonus Room timer duration, made first bot after Checky slower, made first armor after Checky easier to reach, and increased height of all poles Daredevil Dash - slightly moved second breakable wall and slowed the bot in front of it Perilous Production - swapped spawned Armored Bots for easier bots Harrowing Heights - changed the spawn location when returning from the Bonus Room Treacherous Trek - put holds around the breakable wall with the jetpack Gearheart’s Gambit - added some safe holds to the torso and arm gauntlets Dodgey Dilemma, Transfer Trails, Risky Rails, and Firey Falls - added flat surfaces for the moving holds to path along Multiple levels - fixed pickups inside breakable walls clipping into the cavity and/or slightly adjusted breakable wall location …Also, we upgraded from Unreal 4.16 to 4.24! This should help the game run better across the board, among other things. We always do our best to test, but this kind of thing can introduce new bugs. Here's what you'll be able to savor in this update... Changes: Enemies blow up when they touch the fog planes in levels Hands no longer buzz or show the grab outline when you're prevented from grabbing things (such as when you're dead) Crumbling holds flicker as they respawn out of the wall Adjusted the layout of the difficulty mods bubble Adjusted some walls in Doombot Crusade to make learning about the fall projection system easier Made some pickup challenges in Treacherous Trek and Perilous Productions easier Ghost racing defaults to Local instead of Off (still defaults to Off in Arcade version) Halved force required to smash energy cores in the final boss fight Fixes: Level times should properly submit to the global leaderboard (sorry about that one!) Regardless of the Ghost Racing setting, your ghost becomes the new global ghost if you beat the global best time for a level Setting Ghost Racing to Off now actually works! Here are the changes: -Fixed a bug that prevented achievements from being granted. If you had already completed the requirements for an achievement, do any event counting towards the achievement to get it. (For example, if you'd already grabbed >50 powerups, grab one more to get the achievement; if you've beaten every Zone 1 level, beat any Zone 1 level again to get the achievement; etc.) -Tweaked the language on an orb in the leaderboard bubble to better explain its purpose (grab it to toggle between looking at the local and global leaderboards) -Made various performance optimizations (which I'd be happy to list, but I don't think most of you will care!)
