Larian Studios is making Baldur's Gate 3!Jun 7, 2019 - Community Announcementshttps://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/6879350/efae40f8bd6433f68df84a744c5e787704d37abe.png The Gazette prides itself on bringing you the latest and greatest breaking news about all things Larian, and the insider stories that go with it. Yesterday‘s headline was the show-stopping, heart-pounding revelation that “LARIAN STUDIOS IS MAKING BALDUR’S GATE 3!” A teaser trailer of our new role-playing game was unveiled yesterday, and it was so spectacularly intense that the internet went into auto-censorship mode. In case you missed it - and you have the stomach for it - you can find the uncut version here: https://youtu.be/OcP0WdH7rTs The Gazette was more than a little intrigued by the mind flayer invasion of Baldur’s Gate. Our best reporter pursued their slimy trail to discover how Larian convinced Wizards of the Coast to let them unleash their madness on the crown jewel of the Sword Coast. The brave reporter went deep undercover and resurfaced with a harrowing tale involving no less than the brutal abduction of Wizards’ own Mike Mearls! Interpol has been alerted of the situation, and you, dear reader, may rest assured that the Gazette is monitoring the situation closely! In the meantime, please enjoy our full video report: https://youtu.be/LI4v6hC_rjM For more breaking news and behind the scenes stories about everything Larian, don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter at baldursgate3.game. This caused some complications but they are now fixed. By playing with these options you can literally turn Dragon Commander into a another game and we encourage you to experiment with all the settings. Also, let us know which ones you prefer. If enough of you concur on specific settings, we might turn them into a game mode. It's worth pointing out that the story situations you encounter in this mode are completely randomized and are drawn from a larger pool of situations, We've also added different scenarios for you to play on. It's the perfect way to explore different choices and experience their consequences. In custom story campaign mode you can immediately select which princess you marry first, skipping the beginning of the game. We are currently working on a larger update which contains a number of other improvements and also further boosts the AI's, taking into account the suggestions you've been making. We expect this update to be out in the not to distant future i.e. it's actually ready but we still need to test it. If you are interested in helping us out with testing the updates, please send a mail to [email protected] with "DragonTester" in the subject line. We'll then send you a code with which you can access the updates once they are available. In "hard' the strategy map unit layout and map layouts are a bit different now and the AI will also try harder to destroy you. For full effect, you need to restart the game in "hard' as changing modes during the story campaign will not affect the current strategy map. Tomorrow we're planning on releasing an update that adds customization of the custom story campaign game rules (like in multiplayer) as well as a number of new battle scenarios for the custom story maps. - Fixes for users having problems starting the game because of unsupported resolutions - Fix for the game crashing when pressing the continue button in the main menu - The continue button will only load campaign savegames - Sorting of savegames is correct now - Several fixes to achievements - Hard difficulty is a bit harder now - The strategy maps will scale according to difficulty setting - Several fixes for users experiencing NAT punchthrough failures - Better detection of recommended graphic settings + added warning when setting the graphic settings too high for your system specs Have fun!Changelist for version 1.0.18Aug 7, 2013 - Community AnnouncementsHi everybody, We just released a new update which does a number of fixes and also introduces a more challenging "hard"' mode.
