DiRT 3 Complete Edition

Dirt 4 first footage the arcade/sim sweet spot returns?Apr 30, 2017 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunI’ve usually had a lot of time for Codies’ racing games, despite only being a car person to the extent that I can replace the fuse for the cigarette lighter if push comes to shove. They tend to comfortably straddle the line between the cheerful anti-physics of arcade driving games and the stony-faced realism of the sim crowd, which is the sweet spot where I can convince myself that ‘yes, I am incredible race driver man!’ Dirt 4 sounds as though it’s a game consciously in search of that sweet spot, with Codies having previously talked of fusing Dirt Rally’s “realism” with the rather poppier Dirt 2 and 3’s “fun”. In trailer terms, that means spraying mud, near-misses and possibly inappropriate use of the word “banging” for its soundtrack. … Dirt 4 rolling out trucks, buggies, and procedural tracksJan 26, 2017 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunCodemasters today announced Dirt 4 , a new entry in their racing series coming this June. Dirt 4 will have rally cars racing across track and field, same as ever, while also bringing back vehicles missing from the series for years: buggies and trucks. The option for procedurally-generated tracks is an interesting addition too. 2015’s Dirt Rally was good stuff — “It’s like slamming your genitals in the door of a washing machine on a cotton cycle,” one of the sad dads off the telly might say * — so Codies expanding their scope sounds grand. … Parpy Birthday! Dirt 3 Free In Humble Store SaleNov 11, 2016 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunHelp Shape The Future of DiRT - DiRT Rally Out NowApr 28, 2015 - Community AnnouncementsLet’s talk DiRT. First I want to say thank you, all you guys and girls have been awesome these last few years. You’ve been telling us what you want for what seems like forever, over on the forum there is a next DiRT game wishlist that actually predates the release of DiRT 3. There have been comment threads on gaming websites telling us were we went wrong and hundreds of posts each day on Twitter and Facebook telling us exactly what you want. That’s how awesome you guys are, you’ve been our inspiration and got us through some tough times. So thank you. http://store.steampowered.com/app/310560 Today starts a new chapter in DiRT history; today we’re doing something that scares the absolute crap out of us, but in a good way. Today we’re not only announcing a new DiRT game but we’re making it available as an early access title on Steam... SURPRISE! If you literally can’t wait any longer to get your hands on it then you’ll find it right here, but while it’s downloading I want you to come back and read about why we’re doing this and more importantly how you can help. Welcome back, so why Early Access? There are a number of reasons but mainly because we want to make sure we get this right. You’ve been asking us for a game that is pure rally with none of the fluff, one that has more stages, longer stages and repairs in between stages. You’ve told us how you want your own team, to be able to set the car up how you want and to feel like you own the car you’re driving. We want to deliver that game. So, right now at the start of Early Access this is what you are getting for your money. 17 Cars - Having hundreds of cars doesn’t interest us, rally is about having the right car and we intend on having all of the right cars. These 17 are just to get us started and we’ll be adding more cars over more classes as the year goes on. 36 Stages – Winding paths through forests, death defying drops off hillsides and narrow mountain paths are what this is all about, it’s you and your car versus the road ahead. To get us started we’ll be heading to the muddy paths of Wales, the dusty trails of Greece and the icy tarmac of the legendary Monte Carlo rally. Simulation Handling – We’ve accurately recreated how every part of the car works and to support this we’ve developed a brand new physics model that simulates everything from the way the surface of the road behaves to limited slip differentials. This is how these cars drive and with real-world rallying experience on the team, a deep understanding of car setup and handling, countless visitors from the worlds of rally and rallycross plus the help of some of our biggest DiRT Fans we've got the handling as right as we can. A-Synchronous Events – Take on the world in Daily, Weekly and Monthly challenges. These are the ultimate tests of skill and determination and it’s going to take everything you've got to finish on top. Team Management – Hire and fire your crew members each of whom which will have different skills, improving rep...Patch 20/04/15Apr 20, 2015 - Community AnnouncementsHi all, I'm pleased to announce that we've just set the FFB patch live and it should automatically download for you shortly. I Can’t Redeem My GFWL Key A small number of players who purchased GFWL CD Keys from resellers such as Direct2Drive and Get Games haven’t been able to redeem their keys. We’ve got to the bottom of this issue now and are working with Valve to get it fixed as quickly as we can. Big thank you to Valve and to you all for again helping us get to the bottom of the issue. I will post an update on the Steam Community Hub as soon as that fix is in place. Every day I have over a hundred notifications on my Steam account, there are threads thousands of comments deep about it and countless Tweets and Facebook messages - while you’d think it would be the kind of thing that would bug the hell out of me, you’d be wrong. It just goes to show that you guys love DiRT and care about it a lot; I’m hoping you’ll bring that passion with you for where we’re going next... ...Anyway before I get into trouble, I’m pleased to announce that DiRT 3 is now available with 100% less Games for Windows Live. Store Page Link As a thank you for your patience over this last year we’ll be upgrading everybody who owns DiRT 3 to the DiRT 3 Complete Edition, which will include all of our DLC for no extra cost. http://blog.codemasters.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/DiRT3_CE_2.jpg If you currently have the GFWL version of DiRT 3 in your Steam Library you should now also have access to the DiRT 3 Complete Edition which should already be there your list of owned games. To play it simply select it from your library and click install. However if you own a boxed PC copy of DiRT 3 or have a Games For Window Live CD Key you can now activate that CD key on Steam. To do so simply follow the below steps: Load up your Steam Client Click “Add a game” found in the bottom left of the window Click “Activate a product on Steam” Click “Next” Follow the instructions and when asked enter your CD Key into the “Product Code” box (be sure to use CAPS and include the hyphens) Hit “Next” Your code will then be verified and the DiRT 3 Complete Edition will be added to your library And you’re good to go! Those who originally purchased the game via Steam will notice that the now old GFWL version of DiRT 3 will still be in your library. You will still be able to play this version but it will still include Games for Windows Live and you won’t have access to the Complete Edition content – nothing will have changed with that older version. http://blog.codemasters.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/DiRT3_CE_4.jpg Due to the differences with the two versions unfortunately your save files will not be compatible with each other. We know it sucks and we are sorry but it was unavoidable. As an added bonus if you also happen to own a Mac you will now have access to the DiRT 3 Complete Edition via Steam on that too. And of-course we’ve also included a set of Steam Trading cards for you to collect and added all of the original DiRT 3 achievements. Finally thank you again for sticking with us and a big thank you to the rather awesome people at Feral Interactive who helped us with the work. Keep it lit. - Justbiglee
