Deathgarden

Deathgarden shuffles towards the grave, but not without a celebrationNov 23, 2019 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunBehaviour Interactive ceased development on the brutal survival shooter, Deathgarden: Bloodharvest Friday after nearly half a year of triage. The makers of Dead By Daylight are punting the idea of a dour funeral, though. Instead, every feature the team have been working on was pushed out the door for players to enjoy. It’s Deathgarden: Bloodharvest’s wake, and everyone is invited because the game has now gone free-to-play. (more…) Deathgarden: Bloodharvest halts development, is now free to playNov 22, 2019 - PC GamerDeathgarden, which may be the most wonderfully pure videogame title since Bonestorm, launched into Steam Early Access last year, and it looked really promising: We called it a "weird, exhilarating game of lethal hide-and-seek" in our August 2018 preview. But according to Steam Charts, it was never able to find an audience. A "relaunch" in May of this year, with the even more awesome title of Deathgarden: Bloodharvest, turned things around briefly, but after a few months the average concurrent player count had sunk back to double-digits. Today developer Behaviour Digital announced that after working through various scenarios and possible solutions, it has decided that "none of them would change the fate of this project," and it is therefore halting development. "Two years ago, a handful of passionate game developers at Behaviour got together to develop a new game concept. This paved the way for great talents to join the team, and we want to acknowledge the work of every single person who took part in this soulful adventure," the studio wrote. "Deathgarden was, and still is today, a project of passion. A game that we wanted to make for ourselves, but also for players around the world to enjoy." I don't think it really qualifies as "good news" under the circumstances, but the Deathgarden servers will be kept online until at least the end of the year, so players can continue to garden their deaths "as long as matchmaking is viable." As of today it's also fully free, as are the soundtrack and lore book, and all in-game cosmetics have been reduced in price to 1 Blood. The Terminator Set DLC will remain at regular price, however, in accordance with its licensing deal. Behaviour said it's going to "give the game a meaningful last breath by finalizing every feature we've been working on," and a final "Play With the Devs" livestream will be held at 3 pm ET on December 12, on Twitch. Anyone who purchased the game within the last month and has fewer than six hours of playtime is also eligible for a refund, which can be requested directly from Steam. Details are available in the final update patch notes and FAQ. Final Letter to the CommunityNov 22, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsDear Deathgarden Community, They say all good things must come to an end. Over the past few weeks, our team has been rather quiet about the development of Deathgarden. Witnessing the decreasing player base, we’ve been working on finding solutions: we sought advice, considered many different scenarios, looked at various solutions, but unfortunately, none of them would change the fate of this project. Today, it is with a heavy heart that we’re announcing the end of Deathgarden’s development. To honour the production team’s work, we have decided to give the game a meaningful last breath by finalizing every feature we’ve been working on. Two years ago, a handful of passionate game developers at Behaviour got together to develop a new game concept. This paved the way for great talents to join the team, and we want to acknowledge the work of every single person who took part in this soulful adventure. Deathgarden was, and still is today, a project of passion. A game that we wanted to make for ourselves, but also for players around the world to enjoy. This project made us go through a roller coaster of emotions, from the first version to the reboot, and we take pride in what we’ve accomplished. We grew a lot from the experience, as a team and as individuals, and we will keep on going, we will take risks and be innovative to meet our player’s expectations. As for the future, the Deathgarden team has been redeployed to other Behaviour projects, both live and unannounced. All this work wouldn’t have been possible without you, the community. We want to thank you for your continuous support and contribution during the ride. We want to leave this adventure on a high note and make the work we’ve been doing these past weeks be worth it for you. In the light of this news, we wanted to have one last moment to share with you. We will be hosting a Deathgarden’s sunset Play with the Devs livestream on December 12 at twitch.tv/deathgardengame starting at 3 pm EST to share our love for the game with you. We will keep Deathgarden’s servers up at least through the end of the year, and you will still be able to play the game as long as matchmaking is viable. We are also making the game free today, so more people can join you. Thank you very much for your support these past two years and we will see you again soon, The Deathgarden Dev Team You can read the Patch Note and FAQ on your websiteHotfix 0.1.9.4: Desperate ExpeditionOct 15, 2019 - Community Announcementshttps://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/51d8544022f5cc40a56ce81c2fa09ab2431f20bd.png Hotfix October 15th - Fixed the animation bug where you could see a scavenger drop down a structure while he was climbing up, only to reappear at the top of the structure after, making the scavenger untargettable. - Updated the version of BattleEye to be compatible with the next Windows version. Blood Deposit Progression: The amount of blood required to open the Exit now counts down. i.e. It requires 50 blood to open, if you deliver one, the UI will indicate 49. Hunt with a Friend (2v10): Scavengers need to deposit 60 blood in each objective and the UI will also countdown. Hunter: Progression Indicators: Blood Deposit Progression Indicator numbers were removed. The red progression bar doesn't fill. Some structures disappear during Blood Mode. Clipping In the “Loadout” and “Cosmetic Vendor” menus, the character model clips with the fern. Wheelbarrows clip to the boxes beside them. Animation When reloading the “Snake Bite”, his claw shakes at the animation’s end. Menu Players can get stuck on the screen if they press “ESC” quickly after opening the “Prestige” menu. In the Character Select screen during matchmaking, “LB” and “RB” button icons are displayed. When in the Settings menu, the “enter” key doesn’t work after players select a drop-down option using the arrow keys. Spectate mode displays two button prompts with “Y” when using a controller. HUD Swapping between spectated players will reset the displayed amount of blood for each Blood Needle. UI The amount of experience towards “Gain Experience in the Resources Category” challenge overlaps with the progress bar. The scavenger’s stamina bar doesn’t refresh correctly when exiting the “Character Select” menu. When looking at a vendor while aiming down sight, an extra yellow exclamation mark will appear behind the character. The “completed” banner on the weekly challenge overlaps with its countdown timer. When players switch languages, the scavenger’s rank doesn’t update until they have entered a match or a menu. Upon initiating a recycle on a scavenger who has not been recycled yet, the execution UI text briefly shows that execution is enabled. The Veteran’s “No Way to Hide” ability is shown as both a “Shock” and a passive ability. The Veteran’s “About to Blow” perk fails to mention that the hacked blood piles explode as well. Collision There’s an invisible platform above the Cosmetic Vendor in the scavengers’ Ready Room. Some water towers miss projectile collision. The match ending countdown SFX is not sync with the visual text. When selecting a perk at its max level, the “equipping” SFX can be heard. Localization The “Cosmetic Vendor” name is not localized. The announcer voice line “Scavenger Death” stays in English in all other languages.Patch 0.1.9: Desperate ExpeditionOct 3, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsHello Deathgardeners, Coming up in this week’s patch: new Origin Skins, a new map, the Harvest your Exit implementation as the “Default” mode and some balancing. Important: Custom key bindings will be reset following some changes we made. Please make sure you remap them before hitting the garden! NEW MAP: DESPERATE EXPEDITION {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/04a25cac81b0f92e72fec39c86477e96dc56b865.jpg Bloodshed has just begun in the Arctic circle! These desolate lands covered in everlasting snow are the final resting place of scavengers bold enough to go out in the open, as hunter may gun them down from icy cliffs. Biome: Arctic Weather: Bleak Winter Garden Elements: Radar towers, wind turbines, living pods, snowcats, research station, generators, containers, icebergs. HARVEST YOUR EXIT: NOW THE DEFAULT MODE {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/a08eeb616f21590e97bde86da94430043e3b627b.png With today’s patch, Harvest you Exit will now be Deathgarden’s default mode. We gathered feedback on the game objectives, and we now feel confident in implementing it permanently. As we’re constantly looking to improve the experience, we’ll keep on balancing the game and address gameplay concerns. We adjusted the delivery goal for each Blood Needle; to open an exit, scavengers now need to deliver 50 blood in 1v5 and 60 during the Hunt with a Friend events. The “Last Man Standing” situation has been a recurring topic since the release of Harvest your Exit. We decided to change how the game ends when there’s only one scavenger left. When no Blood Needle has been filled, and only one scavenger remains, every exit delivery quota will be set to 1 blood. An exit will trigger as soon as another blood is delivered. On Sunday, the Hunt with a Friend still occurs and will remain a Harvest your Exit experience. NEW SKIN: GHOST ORIGIN SET {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/7c37de73a58bb086d190663e8faf24656f5d94f4.jpg The Origin skins collection will expand with the addition of the Ghost Origin “Prodigal Son” full set. This set shows Amini’s origins before he became Ghost. You can check the lore and the concept arts that inspired us right here. We’re also adding alternate versions of The Inquisitor and Ghost’s Origin skins. Grab your resources and be sure to pay the Cosmetic Vendor a visit. BENEFIT SYSTEM With today’s update, we’d like to gradually address an issue frequently brought to our attention: Players disconnecting during the game. Our intent is to give incentives for them to stay for the match’s duration. The benefit system works as follows: Players now earn honour points by completing games and may earn resources as a result. On the Tally Screen at the end of each match, players can see their own honour dial with its five distinct bars, each corresponding to an honour point. All players start with the dial full—with 5 honour points. If the number of honour points is higher than or equal to 5, players will earn 20 iron per match completed. Scavengers don’t have to spectate the whole ma...New Map: Desperate ExpeditionOct 1, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsDeathgardeners, Grab a blanket and get ready for a new frozen map! In the next patch, we’re bringing you a new arctic map: Desperate Expedition! Inspired by the North Pole, Desperate Expedition boasts three distinct areas: the living pods; the frozen sea; and, the snowy forest.  {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/aa4c81d5fd33795a672e39bacd93f98f9e351f6e.jpg Biome: Arctic “Far inside the Arctic Circle, the Tarkkaavainen Lepakko early warning station was a key part of the Unity missile defense system. It prevented attacks by Collective forces over the Barents Sea and so was a prime target at the start of the war.” The remains of an old Unity warning station stand frozen in the Arctic circle. During the war, snipers used the icy cliffs to bolster their visibility and defend the station from the Collective troops. They made their last stand near the living pods, where a fierce battle among the snowdrifts unfolded. The Collective’s hazardous mission ended in their favour, and the station was soon abandoned and forgotten. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/04a25cac81b0f92e72fec39c86477e96dc56b865.jpg Weather: Bleak Winter “As the stars rose and the long darkness began, the soldiers would hunker down, afraid of something that stalked them from afar.” The Arctic white landscapes stretch beyond the horizon. The snow stacks over the research station, and the blizzard penetrates through bullet holes and fractures.   Footfalls crunch the hard snow and break the white North’s chilling silence. Breathing becomes difficult as the temperature plummets below zero. Time and again, shots are heard somewhere in the distance. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/a20f296dd82ce6775ba3dce5b9fc473a3e036d77.jpg Garden Elements: radar towers, wind turbines, living pods, snowcats, research station, generators, containers, icebergs. The Tarkkaavainen Lepakko station used to be a key part in Unity’s missile defense system. The soldiers stationed there lived through an endless winter that slowly ate away at their patience and sanity. Now deserted, the missiles have been repurposed to be used in the Deathgarden.  Scavengers should cleverly avoid the hunters’ gaze by hiding behind icebergs and snowdrifts. Hunters will enjoy a vantage point at the height of the cliff but should think twice before taking a stroll in the forest. The Inquisitor: OriginSep 17, 2019 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/bf4ef4e201da006f9e39b3c905bc0098d3db151b.png The Inquisitor always searched for a worthy cause. A cause worthy of his time, his skill, his life. He searched for a cause that would help him transcend his mortality and bring him closer to his destiny as a legendary hunter. Tomás Guerra finally found his cause when he met Yeva Sushko, the enigmatic yet charismatic leader who assumed leadership of the Collective years ago. She promised to put humanity on a new, righteous path, and he was swayed by her ideas, their monk life-existence, and their aspirations to cleanse the world. When the Pure formed around her, Guerra had finally found his calling. “Purity of mind, purity of intent, purity of body.” - The Inquisitor Through their scarification rituals, the Pure cleansed themselves of unclean thoughts. His scars represent his dedication to the Pure and are not to be confused with his opponents’ minor injuries. He accepts his arm’s deformity as a testimony of his determination and resilience, rejecting a 3D-printed hand in favor of a simple prosthetic tool to make wielding his weapon easier. Before becoming the notorious Inquisitor of the Bloodharvest, he used to hunt dissidents bold enough to challenge Sushko. It wasn’t long before she made him the leader of São Paulo Enclave’s Inquisition. Enemy threats are meticulously killed with a bullet to the head to avoid resurrection. Fallen dissidents have their masks stripped away to be worn by the Inquisitor as a morbid warning to others who should dare cross his path. The Inquisitor always wore a mask as testament to his selfless dedication to the cause—a faceless weapon of the Sushko machine. Now he captures and unleashes threats in the Deathgarden to hone his skills as a hunter and show his uncompromising devotion to cleansing the world of the impure.Patch 0.1.8: Harvest your ExitSep 11, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsHello Deathgarderners, This patch’s main highlight is the upcoming new feature, Harvest your Exit. In addition, we will hold an “Ask Me Anything” session this Thursday from 3PM to 3:30PM EST (12PM to 12:30PM PST and 9PM to 9:30PM CEST) on Youtube and Twitch to answer all your questions. HARVEST YOUR EXIT {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/a08eeb616f21590e97bde86da94430043e3b627b.png These new objectives add a new blood flow to the game! Scavengers’ objectives have slightly changed, as they must gather blood to ensure they will have an exit by the timer’s end. This Thursday, September 12th, players will be able to try it out during a special event from 2:30PM to 6:30PM EST (11:30AM to 3:30PM PST and 8:30PM to 12:30AM CEST). As communicated until this very moment, Harvest your Exit was originally planned as a Hunt with a Friend exclusive feature. Following the community feedback, and also since we felt that bringing it to the core game would definitely makes more sense, we’re happy to announce that Harvest your Exit will be available in the classic 1v5 mode tomorrow, along with the Hunt with a Friend special events. IMPROVEMENTS GENERAL  UI: Remove Character Title from the Scoreboard o  The character title has been removed from the scoreboard and will only appear once the match has ended. Design Goal: Reduce the instance of leaving the games and reducing toxicity occurrences. HUNTER   Gameplay: “About to Blow” Damage Reduced o  The Veteran’s “About to Blow” perk damage has been reduced.    - Level 1: from (61)dmg → (30)dmg.    - The damage’s increase at each level, from (7)dmg → (3)dmg. Design Goal: These modifications should bring the perk’s value in line with other perks. Gameplay: The Veteran’s “Shock” Ability Changes o  The Veteran’s “shock” ability now reveals scavengers instead of dealing damage. The ability still inflicts 1 damage to ensure challenges’ completion. Design Goal: The Veteran’s overall damage output was higher than intended. Modifying her “shock” ability adjusts her according to our design intents. SCAVENGER  Gameplay: “Shield” Protects From “About to Blow” Damage o  The perk “About to Blow” doesn’t damage a scavenger protected by a shield. Design Goal: This change ensures consistency in how the “Shield” vambrace works with the other hunter’s hacks. Animation: New Custom Navigation Animations o  Various scavengers’ animations have been customized. Design Goal: The intent is to give more personality to each scavenger. FIXED ISSUES Gameplay The vambrace’s durations are incorrect for Ghost, Switch, Fog, and Dash Visual and Cosmetics Fog’s prestige upper body doesn’t display blood on his hood. The Loadout and Upgrade Vendor’s perks appear in different order. There are visible holes in The Inquisitor’s shoulder when emoting and wearing the Trance skin. The skirt flaps of Sawbones’ upper body cosmetics miss some texture. When a drone spawns under a Ready Room, it will go inside the Ready Room when activated. Two of Fog’s upper body cosmetics...New feature: Harvest your ExitSep 10, 2019 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/cc1f140e10084160c16f259706b1df9a40087f58.jpg Dear community, The past few weeks have been quite busy. We’ve added a lot of content to Deathgarden, including a cosmetic vendor, the Hunt with a Friend mode, a new map, and our brand-new hunter, The Veteran. As the game evolves, we strive to enhance the gaming experience for all our players. The community feedback we gathered during the Hunt with a Friend public playtests allowed us to tune and balance the game mode. It also allowed us to develop and test new features, such as the new matchmaking flow. Thanks to your help, we’re able to offer a distinctive gaming experience with the Hunt with a Friend mode. Since we’re building the game future together with you, our players, we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce a new iteration of the Hunt with a Friend feature. This one differs from the past events as we’re looking into a new way to add variety and complexity into both the scavenger’s and hunter’s playstyles. The main change is in the game objectives: while the hunter goal is unchanged (i.e., kill everything that moves), scavengers must work more actively together to activate exits before the timer ends. We call it Harvest your Exit*. To escape the garden, scavengers must fill the Blood Banks with enough blood to transform them into exits. Instead of a global blood delivery goal, each Bank is counted separately. Delivering 55 blood at a Bank turns it into an exit when the timer expires. In the meantime, hunters must do everything in their power to kill the scavengers and to prevent them from filling Blood Banks. The dominations have been removed from the game and the Blood Mode only activates when the 8-minute timer ends When the timer ends, scavengers are revealed as they try to escape the garden through the now open exits. If they find themselves without an exit, they still can continue to deliver blood, at their own risk as they are nonetheless revealed. During our internal playtest sessions, scavengers were able to open 2 exits per game, on average. Our design goal is to offer players with a wider range of strategies for both scavengers and hunters while making matches feel more competitive. You will have the possibility to try this mode this Thursday, September 12th, from 2:30PM to 6:30PM EST (11:30AM to 3:30PM PST and 8:30PM to 12:30AM CEST), before its release in the Hunt with a Friend event on Sunday, September 15th. Your feedback matters to us: please join us, dive in and let us know how you feel about the feature. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32744940/0ea83bf9607aa262db96eff98ec435bf87f629b3.jpg While the feature is live on Thursday, we’ll hold a Ask Me Anything session with Matt Jackson, Deathgarden’s Design Director. From 3PM to 3:30PM EST (12PM to 12:30PM PST and 9PM to 9:30PM CEST), you will have the opportunity to ask your questions directly to Matt on Twitch and Youtube. We will then host a Play with the Dev live stream to go deeper into the Harvest your E...HOTFIX 0.1.7.2: The VeteranSep 5, 2019 - Community Announcementshttps://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/51d8544022f5cc40a56ce81c2fa09ab2431f20bd.png Hotfix September 5th: Global Matchmaking in the Hunt with a Friend mode: - A new option allows hunters to leave a party. You can play from 10:00 AM EST on Sunday until 09:59 AM EST on Monday Matchmaking Flow Following the feedback received from previous playtests, we decided to implement a new matchmaking flow, combining the Hunt with a Friend and the classic 1v5 features. This change allows both modes to be live at the same time. It works as follows: the queue type is decided by the hunters. As the guardians of the Enclave, they decide this specific garden rule. When two hunters decide to hunt together, a Hunt with a Friend match is created. Hunters must be in the same lobby for the HWF match to start. If the hunter is alone, a classic Deathgarden match is created instead. Hunters queuing alone will not be paired with another hunter: they will always queue in the 1v5 mode. Scavengers are drawn from one big pool of players: they will either join the first or the latter to ensure every hunter has the right number of preys. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/f388dadd032d1432885fdcd0bb90c0b95b663eaa.jpg SPECIFICS: Hunt with a Friend Gameplay: Quantity of Drones The quantity of drones on the map is 15. You can find all the details below. NEW HUNTER: THE VETERAN Hailing from Paris, France, Leila “The Veteran” Boudet has seen her fair share of blood. A renowned soldier of Unity, she won’t hesitate to strike down whoever’s foolish enough to enter the Deathgarden. Her main weapons are a grenade launcher and a triple barrel carbine. Among other things, The Veteran is the only hunter that can hack blood piles. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/d1a89118c1a65dd4d28038c0f8b9be23a2a53d84.jpg “This ain’t a god damn game. Get in, make the kill, and get out.”— Leila “The Veteran” Boudet You can read more about her story here. The Veteran will replace The Inquisitor as the starting hunter for newly created accounts; other players will receive 1,000 iron, claimable during the week following the release of the patch, to buy the new hunter. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/6ce6d604eb82dd9fe1571980e4d45d5c8a3bdd15.jpg NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS GENERAL Onboarding: Character Rating o Each character now has a gameplay difficulty rating tag in the Locker Room’s Character station; they are rated as Easy, Medium or Hard. Design Goal: The intent is to give new players a better insight at the characters’ gameplay difficulty. UI: New In-Game Notification Widget o When spawning in the Locker Room, a notification widget informs players when there is an active in-game event. GARDEN Audio: Scavenger Executed o A new sound and voice line play when a scavenger is executed. HUNTER Gameplay: “Shock” Stagger Adjustment o The “shock” ability no longer staggers scavengers. The scavenger’s upper body keeps its staggered animation as a visual cue for the on-hit effect. o The “shock” ability no longer interrupts climbing interactions. Design Goal: The intent is to reduce the ability’s effects while retaining its value. Gameplay: The Stalker’s “Power Shock” Perk Damage Reduced o The “Power Shock” perk damage has been reduced by 50% at all levels. Level 1 (10)% → (5)%. Level 2 (20)% → (10)%. Level 3 (30)% → (15)%. Level 4 (40)% → (20)%. Level 5 (50)% → (25)%. Level 6 (60)% → (30)%. Level 7 (70)% → (35)%. Level 8 (80)% → (40)%. Level 9 (90)% → (45)%. Level 10 (100)% → (50)%. Design Goal: Reducing the damage by 50% brings this perk in line with the others. It also balances hunters. SCAVENGER Game Experience: Challenges Removed o The challenges “Climb” from tiers 7 to 9 are removed from the challenge pool. The challenges still occur from tiers 3 to 5. It was blood. The blood of soldiers who fought for a new golden age of humanity. And Leila gave her share. She was in her early twenties when she first put on the battle suit. What started as a bulky, cumbersome uniform became a skin she was more familiar with than her own. She had found her calling. Trudging through mud and smoke, she could drag an injured colleague to safety while unloading a mag straight into an enemy’s skull. No compromise, no corners cut. Leila was a decorated war hero by the time Unity launched their final attack on The Divided. She had dreams of marching into Brisbane and stomping any attempts at resistance—but it wasn’t meant to be. A lucky shot of cannon fire rained down on her position, cutting hot shrapnel through her armor. With her battle suit painted red, she rose to her feet, only to be held back by her commanding officer. She was ordered to retreat while the rest of her unit moved forward. With the war in its final hours, she was to be flown back to France to recuperate. As her plane took off, a blinding light erupted from behind. The Divided had launched a final nuclear barrage that killed 90% of the troops in Australia on both sides. Leila returned a reluctant hero, thirsting to avenge her allies, but without any means to do so. As peace broke out, her usefulness was at its end, and she retreated from public life to brood in silence. It wasn’t until The Bloodharvest that she’d emerge once more. The notion of scavengers earning a place in The Enclave sickened her. She knew amongst them were the remnants of her enemies, their sons and daughters, and the civilians who were too cowardly to fight for Unity. It had been so long since the nuclear attack, but the time for punishment had finally arrived. “This ain’t a god damn game. Get in, make the kill, and get out.”— Leila “The Veteran” Boudet Default hunter power: Orbital Strike—Calls in a strike from Unity satellites, barraging a designated area with laser-guided explosives. Default loadout: Grenade launcher and carbine. The Veteran’s deep knowledge of her environment makes her a dreadful opponent. She will make sure to find every scavenger in the garden, even those who mastered the art of hiding. Not a single scavenger will be able to make a better life for themselves, especially not on Leila’s watch. The Veteran will be released to all players this Thursday to kick off our free weekend and 50% off Steam sale! See you in the garden! Hunt with a Friend PlaytestAug 15, 2019 - Community Announcementshttps://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/5da0cf331be4e755db77a304e8fc7a17227562ff.png Dear Community, We'd like to apologize about the issues during today’s playtest. We encountered some unexpected issues with the matchmaking flow. It did not perform as expected, resulting in matchmaking being non-functional. Servers are now going back to the classic 1v5 mode as planned and we will update you on any future schedule. Thank you for participating in today's playtest, The Deathgarden Dev Team Hunt with a Friend Playtest UpdateAug 15, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsHello Deathgardeners, This week’s Hunt with a Friend playtest features a new matchmaking flow and addresses some balance changes. As we’re working on improving the general balance of the game, we made a few changes that applies to both the new and classic games modes. Today’s playtest is a ‘’2 hunters versus 10 scavengers“ mode. The playtest is from 6PM to 9PM EST. HOTFIX 0.1.6.3 New Matchmaking Flow Following the feedback received from previous playtests, we decided to try a new matchmaking flow, combining the Hunt with a Friend and the classic 1v5 features. Scavengers are drawn from one big pool of players: they will either join the first or the latter to ensure every hunter has the right number of preys. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32744940/dfb2533c69a4fdbbfd4e77a1137a9bd53d146b4e.jpg General Changes Gameplay: Healing Bolt Trails Last Longer The healing bolt trail lasts from (2)s → (3)s.
