It was a quality-of-life hotfix containing these items in update 2.1.2: Allow to reset progress from the game settings menu; beware this will affect purchases as well, and should only be used if you tried the game in the past, and are just confused where to pickup. This was a feature requested almost daily, so jump into Discord and take part in discussions! Defensive squad power is now displayed for opponents in the PvP arena Matchmaking algorithm improved to mitigate matchmaking starvation at the top and the bottom of the leaderboard. This should lead to faster battles to be found. Added Restart button to quickly replay PvE battles. Another feature requested by the Discord community! PvP Arena rewards can be examined from the Leaderboard window now (KNOWN ISSUE: Rewards may not yet be issued, and will be fixed with the next update). Update Notes 2.1.0Mar 9, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsPvP Arena Fight in the arena with your legendary samurai heroes for a chance to earn valuable loot. Engage in intense battles with other players and aim to become #1 in the rankings! The Rules: Winning a battle will earn you TROPHIES. Losing a battle will lead to the loss of some of these TROPHIES. The number of TROPHIES you hold determines your RANKβyour place on the leaderboard. You use your ATTACKERS squad to fight against other players. Choose your opponent, configure your squad, and fight! You use your DEFENDERS squad to defend against other players' invasions. Configure it beforehand via the specified menu to always be ready. Each Arena lasts for two weeks. At the end, you will earn valuable rewards. The higher your RANK, the better the rewards you receive upon Arena completion. Exchange your rewards at the Arena trader for schemes of Iron Pick and Iron Axe, shards of Sanada Yukimura, and other useful resources. Picks & Axes Upgrades Meet the new craftsman at your estate when you reach prosperity level 3: he will transform your rusty tools into brand-new iron ones. Use the tool schemes to enhance your existing tools, upgrading their durability and gaining additional features. Combine schemes to acquire those of superior rarity. Schemes can be purchased from the Arena trader. New Seasons Prepare for the upcoming seasons, which will provide you with the opportunity to collect heroes such as Honda Tadakatsu and Ittosai Kagehisa, now included in the free rewards track as well! Changes in Mini-Events Guaranteed mini-events upon entering the Pine Forest: now you will encounter 2-3 mini-events upon entry if they are available, according to their personal cooldowns. We're getting a lot of questions regarding the future of the game, and here are the answers to the most common questions from both Facebook and Discord social media! π€: What was your inspiration for creating the idea of Daisho? π¨βπ¨: As you know, our studio's first title is "Gladiators: Survival in Rome," and we were inspired by the idea of creating a game similar to how Ubisoft approaches their Assassin's Creed series. They manage to transport us to various places and eras without significantly changing the gameplay. We chose feudal Japan for several reasons: firstly, it's quite popular and romanticized in various media nowadays; secondly, we discovered that most of our team is really into Japanese culture, which sparked a flurry of ideas about the characters, visuals, and storyline. Another significant decision was regarding the main character's gender. Unfortunately, we currently don't have the feature of main character customization in our games, nor do we have the manpower to support it. Therefore, we had to choose one gender. Deciding to experiment, and since we already have a game with a male protagonist, we opted for a female samurai, and we've grown quite fond of her π In an age of breaking boundaries and erasing differences, this decision felt right, especially knowing that female warriors (onna-musha) existed in medieval Japan. Pop culture examples like Disneyβs "Mulan" (though about Chinese culture) also inspired us with its appealing story. Of course, we drew a lot of inspiration from PC/console titles such as "Ghost Of Tsushima," "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice," "Nioh," "Katana Kami," "Onimusha," and others. We're also excitedly anticipating "Rise of the RΕnin" and the TV series "ShΕgun," along with other titles set to release on various platforms in 2024. π€: When will we have a new map? / Is there a new area coming? We want to see more than mine and forest ^^ π¨βπ¨: In one of our upcoming updates, we plan to add more levels to the mine, as its main idea and mechanics have not yet been fully explored. New locations will primarily be introduced through repeatable events, which we aim to create in the first half of the next year. Additionally, there will be an expansion of the estate map to introduce new constructions and activities. π€: Is there any future development coming up in upgrading the equipment from Level 1? π¨βπ¨: In "Daisho," the equipment upgrading system revolves around merging equipment to attain better rarity and, consequently, improved parameters. As of now, we do not have plans to introduce levels to this system. Future development will focus on introducing new tiers of equipment. π€: When will the "saga" be continued?
