Cozy Keep Farm Craft Manage

Quick Fix v0.0.9bApr 24, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsEggs now drop through the three farm plots on the old farm. Added a setting to change the mouse lock mode, which by default will lock the mouse cursor only if the game is in fullscreen mode (Settings → Video). Deleting sand no longer gives trash back, as it could be abused to generate an infinite number of trash bags and coins. Added a toggle crouch option (Settings → Gameplay). Fixed the collision of planted fruit trees, which could cause players to get stuck. Fixed an Honesty Box exploit that allowed players to duplicate items. Fixed a bug which allowed your character to uncrouch even if it had something above its head. Corrected the crafting recipe for Iron Arrows. Added a check which should trigger the Stone Tier Achievement for players who unlocked this tier in the demo and then moved to the full game. Quick Fix v0.0.9aApr 17, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFixed Thief Perks text displaying outdated bonus values Fixed the Silo "Add All" system, which previously added more items than needed when the Silo was nearly full Fixed a bug where key rebinding didn’t remove the old key, resulting in two keys being bound to the same action Fixed various spelling errors Fixed a bug where the night sky remained during daytime if you went to sleep during the day-night transition animation Fixed an issue where you wouldn’t receive products from animals or Honesty Box sales if you slept after midnight Fixed an issue where sheep could still be sheared even when using a Scratcher Fixed a floating farm plot on the neighboring farm Fixed cows displaying incorrect names and mood statuses Fixed sheep status not updating after being sheared Fixed mouse cursor not locking, which caused clicks to register on a second monitor Fixed the shovel making a digging sound even when hitting nothing Fixed an exploit allowing players to jump onto the Rancher’s barn and leave the Valley Fixed the Auto-Petter not functioning correctly Added an option to rename newborn animals — simply interact with the enclosure and select the “Rename Animal” option Applied a fix for the Auto-Milker not working correctly — awaiting feedback to confirm if it’s fully resolved Livestock - Update 0.0.9Apr 15, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Cozy Keepers! It’s been a while since the last update, so let’s dive straight into what’s new! A New NPC – The Rancher {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/20834f4f21f54d0b40db937f29d4eefee9d835e3.png The Rancher is your new friendly neighbor who lives really close to your shop. You’ll be able to visit him to buy animals, animal products, and automations. Livestock and Animal Husbandry {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/a77881e7a44f05082ed1710acc3734cc44a93bef.png One of the most requested features in the game was the ability to raise your own animals near your shop—so you no longer have to depend on the wild animals in the Valley. Raising your own animals (chickens, cows, sheep, and pigs) allows you to build a steady stock of certain products (eggs, wool, milk, feathers, etc.). Animal Enclosures {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/009394d5cc08ca351c9981017d61f9c41bc10ffe.png Before getting your new friends, you’ll need to build enclosures. To do so, interact with the Enclosure Signs located around the Farming Land. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/41f10599a3a2f63a947b40dcfad0fa208c07f112.png You can build up to 8 enclosures, which will cost some materials and coins. There are 3 types of enclosures: Coop – houses chickens Medium Enclosure – houses pigs and sheep Big Enclosure – houses cows Each enclosure has food and water containers that you’ll need to keep filled. By interacting with an enclosure, you can view your animals and their stats. You’ll also be able to sell or sacrifice animals from here. You can destroy or change the type of an enclosure at any time—but only if it’s empty. Enclosures have limited space, depending on the type of animal they house. Getting Animals {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/65e148d01af71cfd4243deffe06b164f962d42f7.png To get animals, buy them from The Rancher. You’ll be able to purchase both baby and adult animals, depending on your budget and patience. Baby animals will take a few days to grow into adults before they start producing products. Taking Care of Your Animals {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/3f0fe49ea4e7c711142d449ba385a74ae80aff4a.png Owning animals comes with some responsibility. Each day, you’ll need to: Make sure they have enough food and water Pet them daily to build a strong bond A stronger bond means happier animals—and happy animals produce more! Animals eat wheat, grains, and corn, and drink water. Automation Managing the shop, farming, exploring, and gathering resources can be exhausting. If you have lots of animals, automation can help speed up certain tasks. The Silo {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/233f1239789ad50cacefc27827b0479c07fcae0d.png You’ll be able to rebuild the Silo, a large structure that stores water and food for your animals. Interact with the Silo’s lever to distribute food and water to all enclosures at once. The system is super efficient—no resources are wasted, saving you a ton over time! Enclosure Automations {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/ad4fc14b06b2dbcd6310a4cd6cc34c2b8290c501.png Visit The Rancher’s...Quick Fix v0.0.8bFeb 9, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFixed the Crafting Table still displaying the Flour recipe when only the Crusher should. Fixed the Map UI displaying the mine map if you fainted in the mine and respawned back at the shop. The Sleep UI will now be removed automatically after you wake up to prevent accidentally pressing the wrong button and sleeping for another day. Quick Fix v0.0.8aFeb 8, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFixed Blueberry Seeds showing up as Wild Berry Seeds when placed on a Table/Shelf. Fixed the required materials UI appearing or getting stuck when not using a Hammer. Fixed the Honesty Box not calculating taxes. Fixed visitors buying prohibited items if they were available in the Honesty Box. Balanced the odds for the Honesty Box to have fewer thieves and underpaid products. Made the Honesty Box notification stay on the screen longer to make it harder to miss. Honesty Box - Update 0.0.8Feb 7, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! Before starting work on the next major update, I wanted to release a smaller one to add something that I feel completes the Farm Land update from January. The Honesty Box The Honesty Box is the best way to sell products (crops, food, and drinks) to customers who might not be able to visit the Valley when your shop is open. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/d40ed67725b39ccb812d876ebae4ef005e55cd82.png Since you can't monitor or protect it all day, you'll need to place products inside and hope that customers are honest enough to pay the correct price. Some customers who visit your Honesty Box may underpay for a product or even steal it, while others might leave you a tip for your amazing work! The Honesty Box must be rebuilt before use(you must have at least Shopkeeper Level 4 to do it), and you can upgrade it from Level 1 to Level 5 to improve its stats—such as the number of visitors, the number of products it can hold, and pricing adjustments. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/a68e4866aa2a2ff35c8d08f040de63a297b03667.png Prices are automatically set to the highest possible amount, so you don’t have to worry about that detail. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/92f83b0e50cac58251ede2f9bdb060d0eaaf0dfe.png Depending on your luck, some days may bring great sales, while others might bring none at all. So, make sure to level up the Honesty Box and keep it well-stocked at all times. You'll be notified each time you get visitors, but to avoid overwhelming you, visits will be processed after the portal closes and after you sleep and wake up. Changelog New players will now be taught how to set product visibility. Wild Berry Seeds can now be crafted in the Seed Extraction. Fixed Cherry Tart using chilis instead of cherries. Fixed Berry locations not being marked correctly on the map. Fixed an issue where some items were not being delivered after ordering, but coins were still deducted. Fixed crafting stations to return Empty Bottles and Buckets where applicable. Wine recipe now requires an Empty Bottle. Fixed Numpad keys not displaying an icon if bound to an action. What's Next? I'm carefully monitoring this update to ensure I got the values and odds right for the Honesty Box. I'll make balance adjustments based on your feedback. I'm also aware of a few bugs that I really want to fix, but I haven’t been able to replicate them on my own. Additionally, I'll be starting work on the next major update: Livestock—building shelters and enclosures and raising your own animals so you don’t have to rely on the animals found on the map. Once again, thank you all for your support! ❤️ Quick Fix v0.0.7aJan 26, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFixed a bug that caused Beetroot and Cabbage seeds to not appear in the Planter UI. Farm Land - Update 0.0.7Jan 25, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! 2025's first update is here, bringing a bigger farm land, new workbenches, recipes, and lots more! A Bigger Farm Land Many players have been struggling to manage the limited space on their farm land and have asked for more room to grow their favorite crops. Good news: the space has been tripled! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/38f09b49e83eefd5a51cde67b547f996473774eb.png The new system is simple: you'll still need to visit the Tax Collector to pay 100 coins to unlock the main farm land plot. After that, you can purchase additional plots by interacting with the sales signs. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/523469167b9eab1be120b2258198619aa4290b2d.png To accommodate the expanded farm, two new storage racks have been added, ensuring you have enough space for your growing needs. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/bb053f76fdeca7634cebdb37139eecf8b33e472d.png Another exciting change is that starting from now on, you’ll be able to place crafting benches both in the basement and on the farm land. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/bd80ef8de9c5e94fa6d5eb8ef7c8d3c2dc4144db.png Scarecrows & Crows Scarecrows are now 100% effective if the targeted crop is within their range. You’ll also be able to interact with the Scarecrow to display its effective radius and see the number of crows it has scared away. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/34fa8cd452935aaf28c9b847d18a9d6b359db569.png To make things easier for new Shopkeepers, crows will only start appearing once you have a certain number of crops growing at the same time. The more crops you grow, the more crows you’ll attract! Planter UI for Trees Previously, planting trees involved equipping fruit tree seeds to the quick slots and planting them by looking at the mound created with a shovel. While this was convenient for mouse-and-keyboard players, controller users found it cumbersome and time-consuming. Now, you’ll also have access to the same planting system used for crops, making it easier and more intuitive for everyone. It's up to you which system you use! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/c8e253a7a3cefd8d151315cffed113bbe3906773.png New Recipes/Items A total of 29 new items have been added to the game, most of which require specific crops for cooking or crafting. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/0d5bb2d6be82378031cf63bb1f88b229d676008a.png New Crafting Benches The Juicer Use it to squeeze fruits and vegetables into refreshing drinks. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/55242026941760b20882dd1150f6580dbcc674ff.png The Crusher Process raw ingredients into refined goods, such as turning sunflower seeds into oil or wheat into flour. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/9fcf4cfe5ad3ec2f227103f113323e366a6c5973.png Future updates will bring more recipes based on your feedback and suggestions. New crafting benches will also be introduced as these systems expand. Changelog Christmas Event has been removed. Deleting items now returns trash. Fruits, vegetables, and dishes have been rebalanced to provide more hunger and thirst benefits. Wild berri...EA_v0.0.6 Patch NotesDec 24, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! First of all, I'd like to wish everyone happy holidays! I hope you are all safe and spending quality time with your loved ones. I wanted to make one last update for 2024 to address a few issues mentioned by many players. Let's dive into what's new with this patch! Inventory {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/5d01ebe6d856ae82664e8acd47b0ee834582dfe5.png The inventory now has 10 additional slots, addressing concerns from players who found it frustrating to constantly transfer items to storage before heading out to explore. The default weight limit has been increased from 50 kg to 70 kg. A new sorting option has been added to organize the inventory more efficiently. Quickslots {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/54d198eeb8a06ad05990769dd12d27e6b31371e0.png An additional 4 Quickslots have been added, bringing the total to 9. This change allows you to keep all tools ready for use without frequently switching them between the Inventory and Quickslots. Storage Chests {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/eea8d4d384fb5b26d07f52b000990249bc8524c5.png The UI has been completely reworked to match the Inventory's art style. Previously, the list UI was functional but made it difficult to locate and transfer items. The new UI should fix all these previous issues. A new sorting option has also been added for Storage Chests. Slot capacity and max stack size have been increased, enabling more efficient storage. Custom-named Storage Chests now display their label as 3D UI when nearby. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/d66ab666597fb62eafafec6b21d4431ab7ca7aab.png A Small Winter Event {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/3e70e6212f47e8c654eb1c6c98668fe60862d6cd.png Gerry the Snowman has arrived in the Valley! He’s hiding from the Sun under the Special Orders Board (because someone ran out of time to add snow). Gerry will ask you to bring him specific products, rewarding you with top coins in return. This event is entirely optional, so take your time and enjoy it at your own pace. Changelog Trash Bags are now stackable Gamepad users can now view detailed Player Stats in the Inventory UI. New loading screens have been added. Closing the renaming UI now requires a single button press instead of two. Fixed a location near the Mine where players could get stuck. Fixed a bug causing incorrect behavior when hovering over certain settings. Fixed the inverted horizontal/vertical setting so it no longer applies after resetting gameplay settings to default. A Big Thank You As we wrap up 2024, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support, feedback and passion for the game. Your enthusiasm is what keeps this journey so rewarding, and I couldn’t have done it without you! I wish you all happy holidays and a fantastic start to 2025. May your new year be filled with joy, adventure and plenty of good fortune—both in-game and in real life. Thank you for being part of this community!Quick Fix EA_v0.0.5bNov 27, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed the shop's safety not increasing after catching a thief. Fixed new key mappings not being saved correctly. Fixed trees and fruit trees not growing correctly over time. Fixed UIs getting stuck if one was on-screen when you died (e.g., unlocking a chest in the Mine and getting killed by archers). Fixed the fainting system, which caused rare bugs with fruit tree growth times as well as special and normal orders. Fixed the scarecrow failing at its sole purpose of scaring crows. Please note that some crows are exceptionally brave and may still steal crops even if a scarecrow is near your planters. The chance is very small —about 1%— but it can still happen if you're unlucky. I'll continue gathering feedback on this! Quick Fix EA_v0.0.5aNov 22, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed saplings growing in just a few seconds instead of 2–3 days. Fixed gamepad sensitivity being affected by the FPS and VSync, which caused the sensitivity setting to be ignored. Fixed the settings menu showing resolutions unsupported by your monitor. Added an option to display the names of items requested by customers for players using controllers, as they cannot hover over the items to view more details. (basically the same system used to see the ingredients for crafting recipes) EA_v0.0.5 Patch NotesNov 21, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude for your support! Thank you for playing Cozy Keep and, most importantly, for taking the time to provide feedback, share your ideas, and participate in playtesting! Now, let's talk about this update! Farming Farming is an important part of the core gameplay loop. I've listened to your feedback, and here's what's new: New Items {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/6ffa51bb5f1ac5fd6dde7837a1e5085720ecc580.png Faster Interaction with Planter Boxes {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/63bf01035a51098662a654566aefd9add03903a1.png While having a UI to interact with the Planter Boxes is useful, it can become annoying—and even frustrating—as your number of Planter Boxes grows. Navigating the UI repeatedly to plant seeds or harvest crops can feel cumbersome. Note: The UI method is still available and isn't replaced by this new one! You can choose to use them based on your needs! From now on, you can simply equip Seeds, Water Bottles, or Water Buckets to your quick slots and use them by looking at a Planter Box and pressing the corresponding action key. Removing seeds and harvesting crops can now be done the same way. Additionally, you can examine the Planter Box directly to check details like water levels, seed growth, and more. The game should update the key bindings on its own but if it doesn't, you can bind them as you wish by going to Settings -> Keyboard/Controller {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/1ef8e52079314dbe4655ee0516b841f9b5ca85d3.png Watering Your Crops {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/c423a99ad2f5e901ff15ea699f2ded63b5b08774.png Watering with a Water Bottle or Bucket works, but some of you suggested a faster option. Enter the Watering Can! The Watering Can can be crafted at the Crafting Table. You’ll only need one, as it allows you to water multiple Planter Boxes simultaneously. Its water capacity is also larger than that of bottles or buckets. To refill the Watering Can, simply walk through a river or use the Water Well near the Farming Land. Crops, Growth Time, and Yields All vegetables and crops in the game have been adjusted to add more challenge. Growth times now range from 1–3 days, with varying yields for each crop. Soil Fertilizer {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/9133230281bcd28b54df45b38596160288ecfd8c.png To balance the updated growth times, I've added a new item: Fertilizer! You can apply Fertilizer to your Planter Boxes to increase the chance of harvesting more vegetables and crops. Each pack of Fertilizer lasts for three harvests per slot. You can craft Fertilizer by building a Composter on your Farming Land and sacrificing some of your vegetables, fruits, or crops. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/31fb0a77c6760b99a4febac524cdf158467c709c.png Seeds and the Seed Extraction Table {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/07c6dd035424a32e1eef908246076a5c1c782c64.png Previously, getting seeds after harvesting crops was convenient, but it lacked challenge. Additionally, it didn’t allow for seed resale. Now, you ca...EA_v0.0.4 Patch NotesNov 1, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! Another week, another update—let’s dive into what’s new with this one. I know many of you are waiting for bigger additions, but right now, I’m focused on balancing and polishing everything based on your feedback to create a solid foundation. This way, new features can be added more easily in the future. Items Compendium {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/68a82f18852320fb5a55d61a0e7a25f2e8e8af53.png Many of you requested this, and I also felt it was a needed feature. In the Knowledge UI, where systems are explained, I’ve added a new UI that allows you to see all items in the game along with their bonuses, prices, weight, crafting recipes, crafting stations, map and mine drop availability, and which animals drop certain items and how. With this information in hand, it should be easier to get items from Storage Chests when you’re crafting or planning what to specialize your shop in for maximum profits. Royal Inspectors {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/a913d318b879ddc79e572255b3312d42520c54e8.png This new NPC may visit your shop (or not, depending on your luck) when a Prohibition Law is active, checking if you’re selling prohibited items. The Royal Inspector will come disguised as a normal customer, inspecting your shelves for banned items. After a few inspections, they will reveal their identity and let you know whether you’ve passed or failed the inspection. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/90bc2b1250706a8f3d343fa1de53418e85bc171a.png There are two possible outcomes for an inspection: 1. No prohibited items for sale: Nothing happens. 2. Caught selling prohibited items: You receive a fine. If fined, you have two options: 1. Pay immediately and pay only half of the fine. 2. Pay later, with the amount added to your Taxes. Product Visibility {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/7182e7c3fa40ab314edca7256337ac35847f94b4.png With the addition of the Inspector and based on your feedback, I’ve added a new system to enable/disable displayed products. Now you won’t need to manually remove 50+ items if a Prohibition Law is active. At the Management Table, you can simply check/uncheck certain items, so they remain on the shelves, but Customers, Thieves, and the Royal Inspector will consider their quantity as zero. Changelog Customers and the traveling merchant now queue and leave space in front of the Management Table, preventing stacking that made interaction impossible. Increased the trash can’s range. Sales report now tracks the number of thieves who visited and the products they stole. Customers should spawn faster, so selling won’t take the whole day. Added a settings option to enable/disable screen effects for Hunger, Thirst, Low Stamina, etc. (Settings -> Gameplay -> Screen Effects) You can now craft items by clicking and holding the icon of the item in the crafting station. Fixes Fixed looping door sounds on the loading screen. Bedroom decorations now save their current style. Corrected previous reputation displayed incorrectly in the sales report. Fixe...EA_v0.0.3 Patch NotesOct 23, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! With this update we are taking care of a few things, so let's get straight into the details as usual. Customers Customers are a pillar of the gameplay, and my main goal is to polish their behavior as much as possible! Until now, their shopping lists were generated based on your shop's specialization, and it was frustrating for many of you because customers were too picky, and some items would never be sold due to their type and quantity compared to the specialization. Customers will now understand that you're new to shopkeeping and will try not to be so picky. They will still create their shopping list based on your shop's specialization, but they will also buy other types of items. For example, if you spawn soldier customers, they will look for weapons and gear but may also buy food or even tools like a broom because soldiers need to eat or clean their homes too! Another important aspect is how customers rate their shopping experience and how your shop's reputation is affected by these ratings. From now on, customers will calculate their final review based on multiple factors: How clean the shop is How many products they bought from their shopping list Whether the customer needed assistance Whether the shopkeeper provided assistance Does the shopkeeper smell bad? Is the shop navigable? The products' prices You'll get a really bad rating if: The customer can't enter or leave the shop The customer couldn't find a single item on their wishlist The shop is so dirty they leave immediately There are no products or tables available An appealing shop might boost the final review a little. During your first days, there's also a small chance that customers might boost their final review to show some support. On top of these changes, the number of products a customer asks for will be determined based on factors such as the shopkeeper's level and shop reputation. You might see customers buying only a few things in the early days until they build some trust. The same applies to the number of customers that will visit your shop per day. Increase your shop's reputation and appeal, keep everything clean, open the shop at the right time, and you'll see more and more customers coming every single day. Additionally, customers' patience has been increased a little, and I've also added a new option that allows you to ask the customer for more time (2 minutes) to craft or gather the products they need. On top of this, customers will no longer ask you to restock prohibited items, but they will still buy them if they are displayed. (In the next update, you'll see that selling prohibited products has consequences.) Sales Report UI {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/2a1a212360456b9ecb5c34afcff48247975e559b.png Based on your feedback, I've added a UI to display your daily and all-time sales reports. This new UI will help you see which items sell, how customers rated their experience, how much you'll pay in taxes, etc. Changelog The merchant's patience w...Quick Fix EA_v0.0.2bOct 10, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsItems no longer fall through the basement floor if you go upstairs and come back. Collision for beehives and planters has been improved so dropped seeds, vegetables, honey and wax should no longer fall through them if your inventory is full. Fixed the Debt Quest not updating correctly if you had penalties in the first 100 days. It should now allow you to pay the penalties and finish the quest. Fixed an issue where the thief's pouch was sometimes non-interactable if it spawned near the front door. Quick Fix EA_v0.0.2aOct 9, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed some spelling errors. Fixed mounds spawning on paths and becoming non-interactable. Fixed beehive loot dropping through the beehive if the inventory was full. Fixed thief's stolen items not being able to be picked up. Fixed mounds being placed when digging soil and clay. Fixed mounds not disappearing if you use the shovel on them again (if a sapling wasn’t planted). You can no longer sell sand to the king. Fixed newly added items having a price of 0 when ordered on the day of the update. Fixed mounds being placed after removing a stump. EA_v0.0.2 Patch NotesOct 9, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there, Shopkeepers! This is the first of many updates, so let's get straight to the details. What's new? Cows: We've added cows to provide a constant source of fresh milk. To get the milk, all you need is an empty bucket. Beehives: Now you have a steady source of honey and wax. You can find some beehives on the map, but you can also build your own on the farmland using an iron hammer or better. Tree Planting: You can now plant trees around the shop using a shovel and a tree sapling, which you can buy from NPCs or obtain by chopping trees. Trees will grow in 2-3 days, depending on your luck. Egg Respawn: Eggs will now respawn in the chickens' nests near Beatrice's Farm. Sand Extraction: You can now extract sand with your shovel and craft empty bottles using the smelter. Bugs & Issues Fixed a bug that caused Henry to get stuck in certain places; he should now move freely. Fixed players being able to get stuck in Goubie's camp. Fixed floating clay near Goubie's camp. Fixed a bug that prevented players from getting their bucket back after cooking a recipe. Fixed a bug that caused Henry to sleep excessively, even for a cat! Fixed a bug where customers ignored certain items due to a calculation issue. Fixed a bug causing storage chests to transform into storage racks after loading the game. Fixed an exploit allowing players to unlock skill perks by pressing the unlock button and hovering over another skill rapidly. Fixed the one-slot planter not returning the seed if the inventory was full. Fixed a bug that prevented the name and action popup from refreshing when changing tools. Additionally, I'd like to share the first version of the EA Roadmap. I haven't had much time to make it detailed or visually appealing, but it clearly states my intentions with CK. In the coming weeks, I'll polish the Roadmap, add more details, and create a dedicated topic in Discussions to keep you updated. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43378119/887eab228f5cf2a8551fe910dd9340051359d691.pngQuick Fix EA_v0.0.1eOct 6, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed the broom attack action not working properly on controllers. Fixed the "Farewell" option when interacting with a customer, which wouldn't remove the interaction UI. Fixed an issue with a wall in the storage room that was difficult to paint unless positioned precisely. Fixed an issue where shelves could not be built on some walls if neighboring walls already had a shelf. The 5-slot cupboard now displays the correct number of slots. Fixed a bug that caused planter boxes to show some vegetable slots as growing when, in reality, they were ready to be harvested. Fixed the beer crafting recipe; you should now receive your empty bucket back. Fixed the paper recipe; you should now receive 3x Paper for 1x Log, instead of the inverse. Fixed the key rebinding for controllers; you can now bind the B key as desired, while closing actions are now done using the Gamepad Special Right Button. Quick Fix EA_v0.0.1dOct 5, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed storage racks not displaying the correct state mesh. Fixed a bug that allowed you to collect planted vegetables when you only had one free inventory slot, resulting in the loss of seeds. Now, if you have only one free slot, the seeds or vegetables will be dropped on the ground, and you can return to pick them up. Fixed thieves stealing too many items. Additionally, slightly increased the time you have to pick up the thief's pouch and its contents. Fixed consumables, such as water bottles, not returning the empty bottle if you had no space in the inventory. The empty bottle will now be dropped on the floor. Fixed bones being able to be placed on the planks rack. Fixed the gold helmet's recipe and crafting yield. Fixed the postbox and its "take all" system, which caused items to stack even when they shouldn't have been able to. Fixed a location on the map that allowed players to go outside the map bounds and "fall, Interstellar-style." Slightly increased running speed. For Steam Deck players: slightly increased the panning speed of the map as you reported it was moving too slowly. Quick Fix EA_v0.0.1cOct 4, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFixed a rare bug that caused storage racks to revert to a broken state. Fixed the collision of storage racks, allowing you to now paint the walls around them. Fixed the rope item, which would lose its interaction ability after being placed on a table. Fixed Beatrice launching you into the air due to her chair's collision. Fixed the Guaranteed Customers perk, which was sometimes ignored due to low shop stats. Fixed customers admiring unbuilt decorations. Fixed customers not using the trash cans properly. Customers can still drop trash on the ground if they don't see a trash can nearby, so make sure you build 2–3 to cover the entire shop. Fixed movement speed not being affected by a full inventory. Fixed some settings not being saved when changed via a controller. Fixed the 3-slot planter box not displaying cucumbers. Fixed the sunset time, which caused the map to become dark after 18:00. Fixed, hopefully for the last time, the water wells, which caused time to slow down when closing the UI. Fixed the Tips perk, which allowed some players to become super rich in just a few days. Fixed changing quickslots on gamepads, which caused actions to be doubled and a quickslot to be skipped. Some of you really like to explore, even on the first day, leading to full inventories and lost quest rewards. Quest rewards will now drop on the floor if your inventory is full. Additionally, as per the previous update, these rewards won’t disappear in 3 minutes like the rest of the loot. Dropped loot will now disappear after 5 minutes instead of 3. Loot in the mine disappears as soon as you leave, so don’t rely on the 5 minutes there. Added 2 new settings: -Disable camera sway/bob -Controller look sensitivity Additionally, I’ve changed the default controller key bindings for some actions: -Jumping: B -Crouching: LS -Changing quickslots: LB + RB When placing items, they will now remember the rotation of the previous item to allow faster placement. This rotation resets once you choose a different item or stop placing items. Slightly reduced enemy armor. Slightly decreased player movement speed, as many of you reported that it felt too fast and difficult to control when using gamepads. You can still increase movement speed with perks and boots. I’ll continue monitoring feedback on this until we find values that everyone is happy with.
