CBL 2025: May 25th APAC Region Finals HighlightsMay 28, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsMatch 1: BOD vs PAE 2-3 Round 1 (BOD attack – PAE defend, Harbour City) BOD stacked up at the side gate, spotted the PAE swarm, then quickly rotated and split forces at the main gate to snipe the right supply. They rushed the base flag, but were spread thin and failed on the first push. Next, a heavy assault on the left supply point was constantly disrupted by PAE heroes. In the grand finale, PAE held their ground in base until the clock hit zero—first-round defense for PAE! Round 2 (PAE attack – BOD defend, Harbour City) PAE launched down the right stairs to hit the right supply, but BOD pushed up for an early fight. Even so, PAE’s cavalry doubled back, smashed through, and took the point, leaving both sides bleeding evenly. In the base siege though, PAE split their forces too often and had no punch up front, getting repelled over and over by BOD. Time out—score tied! Round 3 (PAE attack – BOD defend, Reginopolis) BOD gave up the front and both teams clashed for the first time at the C-point platform. PAE locked BOD down, bombarded them with trebuchet, and snagged C with ease. In the C-point backyard, PAE led with artillery, and with BOD lacking heavies and support units, they got swept. At the base, PAE’s second wave overran the outnumbered defenders, racking up another win. Round 4 (BOD attack – PAE defend, Reginopolis) PAE gave up the early points, locking in at C for a hard defense. BOD flanked and took the rear C supply, split their push from the side and back gates. After PAE plugged the side, BOD burst through the front, squeezed the defenders, and snatched C. In the end, BOD stormed in mid, surrounded the last PAE troops, and took base for the equalizer—2-2! Round 5 (Grasslands) BOD grabbed B and C first, but PAE pulled out the “double pressure, B-point all-in” strat—constant C-point raids while sending the main force to smash and retake B on raw numbers. When BOD made their own B-point push, PAE dug in and held out to the bitter end. When their main force faltered, they brought in cavalry to crush SDYL. In the base battle, TWT launched a surprise attack from the left path, while SDYL mistakenly reinforced from Supply Point C, allowing TWT to capture the flag and turn the tables. SDYL fell due to terrain disadvantages, giving TWT the first victory. Round 2 (SDYL Attack - TWT Defense, Heilung Fjord) SDYL seized the chance as TWT struggled to secure their position, quickly capturing Point A and gaining unit advantage. At Point C, SDYL used artilleries to compress TWT's space, strategically deploying forces to maximize their advantage, steadily pushing and seizing the base to equalize the score. Round 3 (TWT Defense - SDYL Attack, White Elk Fort) SDYL's aggressive push was baited by TWT, splitting their forces and opening them to cavalry charges. In the second wave, SDYL set up Grapeshot Cannons upfront, while TWT's cavalry held firm to trade losses, repelling the offense. SDYL lacked infantry and fell behind in unit count, exhausting their time and handing another point to TWT. Round 4 (SDYL Defense - TWT Attack, White Elk Fort) TWT's advance through broken walls was surrounded and annihilated by SDYL, who counterattacked using artilleries in the narrow terrain to regain unit count balance. APAC Region AMG VS BOD 1-3 Round 1 (AMG attacks – BOD defends, White Elk Fort) AMG faked a left supply raid at Point A, baited BOD into the choke, then slammed the flank with cavalry—seizing the lead early. But at the base, AMG’s fragmented lines were picked apart as BOD boxed in and wiped them several times. BOD takes Round 1! Round 2 (BOD attacks – AMG defends, White Elk Fort) BOD played keep-away, pressuring AMG then snagging Point A cleanly. At the base, AMG tried for the wraparound, but BOD drove in hard with artillery center and Lionroar Crew on the side, splitting off to block the supply. ZT then used a crafty maneuver at the C Supply Point, trapping SDYL's main force there. With a trebuchet assault advantage, ZT surrounded and decimated the forward defense, expanding their troop lead by another hundred. In the main camp battle, ZT initiated the engagement, breaking SDYL's units amassed at the lower left and clinching the first round. Round 2 (ZT Defense - SDYL Attack, Wall Fort): SDYL's units were insufficiently concentrated as they breached the broken wall, allowing ZT's cavalry and Incendiary Archers to incinerate front-line units and control the battlefield, quashing the initial SDYL assault. SDYL regrouped for a counteroffensive at the C point's left platform, leveling the troop difference, but ZT pursued retreating forces, reclaimed their advantage, and encircled SDYL again, leaving them unable to mount another attack—ZT took their second round. The first clash broke out at the left supply gate, but after YB capped Point A and pushed up the left stairs, they were wiped out by LOS’s cavalry sweeping back in. No sweat—YB immediately surged through the main gate, set the left flank ablaze with Siphonarioi at the core, swiftly seized the left supply point, and forced LOS to turtle up at base. Outnumbered and outgunned, LOS just couldn’t hold the line—YB stormed the final push and took Game 1 with style. Round 2 (LOS attack - YB defend, Hidden City) YB came out swinging, repelling LOS’s attempt at the towers and forcing them toward the main gate. With a shorter supply line and numbers advantage, YB took small fights and then stalled on the walls. Even with LOS using trebuchets and terrain to inch up on Point A, YB’s relentless attrition wore them down. The timer expired with LOS never able to capture—the scoreboard reads 2-0 YB. Round 3 (LOS attack - YB defend, Dasuo Fort) The two teams locked horns at the middle gate, but YB’s artillery fire combined with tight Siphonarioi formations absolutely crushed LOS in the gate tunnel—first blood to YB. LOS regrouped and tried pushing left at the stairs, but YB split their forces to hit the flank, outnumbering them again. Time ticked away and LOS ran out of options—YB sweeps the series 3-0 and marches on! Match 2: HF VS WSS 2-3 Round 1 (HF attack - WSS defend, Hidden City) HF’s opening play was a bold charge up the right stairs, ambushing Point B while WSS pushed back up front. Using Siphonarioi in the main lane and distraction tactics on the right, HF snagged the right supply point, forcing WSS back. In a brutal B point brawl, WSS fended off the initial wave, but depleted their units and couldn’t hold base. HF claims Game 1! Round 2 (WSS attack - HF defend, Hidden City) WSS went for B off the rip but got sandwiched by HF flanking from the rear. A quick cavalry response let WSS steal the left supply point. As HF tried to retake B, WSS ambushed backup troops near the left crossroads, evening the numbers game. In the chaotic final base fight, WSS’s superior unit quality broke HF’s defense—game tied 1-1! Round 3 (WSS attack - HF defend, Wall Fort) WSS made their move at the shattered wall, but then turned to climb straight to Point A.
