The first 4 missions for the CSTO campaign are now available, as well as multiplayer in a very early test mode. How multiplayer works: On the game servers, bots play instead of absent players. When a player connects, he replaces one of the bots. If a player leaves the game, he will be immediately replaced by a bot. If the connection with a player is interrupted by accident, then after 2 minutes, the player's units will be temporarily controlled by a substitute bot. And after 5 minutes the player will be finally replaced by the bot. In the next round, the faction rotates. Bots have specific nicknames of 2 words. What's missing in multiplayer at the moment: chat or other communication system; accounting for points, victories and defeats; ability to change sides; ability to create your own server. Major update 1.5Apr 11, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsHello everyone First, we must apologize for the delay in this update. Initially, for the full release, we planned to make only the second campaign and the online mode. However, when we analyzed reviews and let's plays, we came to the conclusion that the game needs fundamental improvements. Over time, this update has been overgrown with more and more innovations, and finally it is ready. What's new. We have significantly reworked the gameplay, added new units and upgrades, changed squad management. We've also reworked the campaign to include a new defensive mission type and more conquest missions. 1. Units and squads. Instead of recruiting a squad from individual units, we made a system of ready-made squads. Hiring them has become much easier and faster. Squads can now gain experience and activate perks during a mission. For example, you can give the squad a first aid kit, more health, C4 explosives, "luck", etc. Lifetime XP is also accumulated for the entire squad class. It allows you to open varios upgrades for the entire class. 2. New game mechanics.
