Can you believe it's already been a thrilling six months since we released Children of Silentown? 🎂🎉 Time really does fly when you're having fun and patching up game bugs, eh? We want to express our gratitude to everyone for being with us on this journey. Your feedback, discussions, and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind our ongoing commitment to improving the game. But hold on, we've got some scorching hot news for you! 🔥 The game is currently on discount for the Summer Sales! So, if you have friends who haven't yet had the chance to explore Silentown and solve its mysteries, there's no better time than now! Let them know, alright? 😉 Moving on to the updates, we're pleased to announce the release of patch 1.1.4. This update addresses several issues related to the Second Run / New Game feature: Firewood chest was open from the beginning when furball sticker was already in the inventory. This issue has now been resolved. Fixed Thibescus in the islands couldn't be taken: Those elusive Thibescus should now be able to be picked up as intended. Barn items couldn't be taken. It’s been roughly two months since release, how time flies! 🦋 We are glad to see so many of you enjoying our work - many thanks y’all for the support! 🌞 On our side, we have been hard at work to introduce some much needed QoL improvements for after you complete the game for the first time. Now, upon completing the game once you now unlock (on the same save): Chapter select - to play any chapter you like! (but be careful - if you want a specific best friend to appear you-know-where, you have to play the game from Chapter 1). Minigame skip - in case you don’t want to solve them again Persistent collectibles and last song notes! We’ve also added a fix for many small issues you have reported so far: (BLOCKING) Occasional issue in the Forest with the rope puzzles in Chapter 5; (Soft-BLOCKING) Carillon being unresponsive after singing to it in Chapter 4; Some audios of the game were not affected by game options (i.e. cutscenes, some SFX); The Mother's minigame was giving "success" when exiting the minigame without solving it in the Forest; Minor updates/fixes to Italian and Turkish localizations; "Save" and "Load" buttons properly localized; Fire sound active with no fire visible in Chapter 2; Broken animation in the climbing puzzle in the Forest (when using the key on the stone column); Broken animation during the monster reveal scene in Chapter 5; A few broken character animations during the game; Bench D2 missing "cogs" icon when the playground is interactable; Lucy was walking through walls during the “dark village” scene in Chapter 4. Our launch week is almost over, and what week it was! 🔥🔥🔥 Many thanks again to everyone who has played the game, and special thanks for all the feedback!! 🎶😸 We are hard at work to fix bugs and issues, but also reading reviews and comments to see what QoL improvements people need the most… one of which is “Chapter Select on NG+”: we deployed this feature on a branch, so if you are interested go and check it out! Obviously, there are still few more things that need to be prepared for a bombastic release - so it will not be today or tomorrow… but when the time is right, please look forward to an announcement from our publisher Daedalic! 2) The Prologue to the game recently has passed the 1000 reviews!
