On the occasion of the ongoing campaign on Kickstarter, we’re helping our brother, Climber: Sky is the Limit, get some well-deserved attention! Our studio, together with A2 Softworks, didn’t expect the project to be nominated in 2 categories on such prestige event as gamescom 2021. Nominations gave us a lot of motivation, and fuel for future development but like in every game cycle, there is a time when developers need some help from their community. This time has come for us, that’s why we would like to invite you all to Climber: Sky is the Limit’s campaign on KICKSTARTER! For the next few weeks on Kickstarter, we’re going to collect funds and feedback from the gamers to polish the game and astonish everyone with its final form! This is the first from the series of Devlogs that will precede the release of Chef's Tail. We will be updating you with the newest information from the game, as well as some sneak peeks into development, to help you understand the world of Chef's Tail and our creative vision. As you know, Underworld is quite an abundant theme in mythology, for the narrative design of the game that could be either a boon or a bane. On one hand, we have all those incredible characters from the Greek epic poems. On the other hand, we certainly wanted a more light-hearted experience for the game. We also wanted to create something unique, world-building-wise. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40000827/5af5bb04727a957f91f3b40a55f6478a7a80289d.png That’s how one of the quest givers - Charon, became part of the game. Charon’s duty is to transport the souls to the Underworld. But unlike in Greek mythology, the souls are not going to stay in this Underworld forever. With some luck and a bit of obols (ancient currency), they may, very well, reach their next destination even in a few hours! This makes our Charon’s duty a lot less grim and dark compared to original myths. Yes, he is still moody and bad-tempered, though caring as an old, but grumpy grandpa. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40000827/28e9aace4ef320294bf129bdce57af0afac42e90.png Charon is the first character you meet and one of the key figures in Chef's Tail.
