You can pet the dog! (Update to v1.02)Jul 31, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsHello friends and fans! This is a fairly minor update, but there were some issues I wanted to address with a patch update. Notes: Changed some dialogue based on the order you do certain events. Removed some debug text that wasn't supposed to be seen by players. Added even more help to solving a late-game puzzle. And perhaps most importantly of all: You can now pet the dog in Nacre. Book of Eos has been updated! v1.01May 12, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsThank you everybody for your patience and support during the Book of Eos launch. I know that many people have had complaints regarding the difficulty of enemies, frequency of random battles, and level scaling, and this patch aims to address those issues and more. Patch notes: Reduced the rate of random encounters. Changed the stats of almost every enemy and boss to offer a more balanced experience. Increased XP drops from enemies. Changed the rate at which characters level up. Changed the levels where certain abilities are learned. Updated AI script of several enemies. Most human enemies will cure themselves if poisoned. Paralyzed/stunned enemies should no longer be able to counterattack. Reduced the effectiveness of poison for both player and enemies. Added more clues involving a late-game puzzle. Thok's Blood Ritual no longer crashes the game. (This one really hurt to find out) Marea's stunning abilities will work as intended. Other minor improvements and cosmetic bug fixes. Hopefully this will help make Book of Eos a much more pleasant and streamlined experience. Thank you everybody for coming on this adventure with me. I hope you enjoy this game. I have done as much as possible to ensure the game is stable and there aren't any game-breaking oversights, but I am only human. Don't be afraid to bring up any issues you might have in the discussion forum. This is very much a learning experience for me, and I'll be sure to update the game to be more stable as it goes on.
