Gameplay-wise you shouldn't notice a difference though there's little bits and bobs changes (eg minions casting the Pumpkined Comets spell can now spawn the bigger pumpkins). Bonebrobigly Destineous boneraise: This wasn't raising a Big Chupacabradabro and Big Raspiberry Bro. - Manic Mime minion: If it was miming a Deamon then it would be affected by Deamon related relic/spells instead of Meldus (eg Sigil relics). - Desecrated Rage/Acuity/Mysticism relic: When playing as the Doll Maker or Beastwhisperer classes they could offer you a minion even if you didn't have the correct class meta. - Barrow Bonebolster spell: This could level up a Manic Mime (which could cause several issues). - Watering Can relic: It's recharge bonus at level 2/3 has been reduced (since all contraptions had their recharge speed boosted last update). - Boned Magnet relic: This will now say in its description how much it improves your sucking abilities. - Wanted Poster relic: This will now say in its description how much it boosts the meanie amount (it's not strictly accurate since its random and depends on the game mode but is more just to give an idea of how much the boost improves per level). - Giantous Sinner minion: They now lob 5 bones instead of 3 with their Damage reduced accordingly (this is just so they have a better chance of hitting enemies as they tended to miss a lot when only lobbing 3). - Chesty Mimic: Increased its Health by 5 multiplied by the current stage. - Giga Chesty Mimic: Increased its Health by 10 multiplied by the current stage. //bug fixes - When starting a run as the Doll Maker or Beast Whisperer class there was a chance of a crash. - When gaining a Boneraise as the Doll Maker or Beast Whisperer class there was a chance of a game freeze if you had the Desecrated Rage/Acuity/Mysticism relics. - Bonepiles Destineous boneraise: When playing as the Doll Maker it could give minions you have Banished. - Today's update is a very general odds and sods with oodles of improvements all over the place based on the feedback I've had since the last update from you, yes YOU! Visual tweaks to improve visibility... - All player class sprites are now 1 pixel taller and a bit brighter (couldn't resist tweaking some a bit too, eg Gangly is even taller and Clown has longer shoes). - All Enemies are now a bit brighter (notably the darker ones like Bandits/Cyclops). - Enemy Arrow projectiles are now brighter and all enemy projectiles will now show on top of everything else (eg terrain). - Enemies with a ranged attack now have to be fully onscreen before they can attack you. - The various human Champions and Royal Guard have had a few sprite tweaks so are easier to see (eg they are 1 pixel taller, bigger weapon/shield, etc). - Map floors are now a bit darker and contraptions/walls a bit brighter. - You no longer create smoke clouds when running outside of the Hub. - Settings - Visibility - Declutter Floor: This setting has been removed as it now either always counts as being On or uses the Ghostly Minions setting. Crypt Hub changes... - 5 new hats have been added (though are more big head replacements instead of hats): Bigly Barrowerer, Eggplantty Broski, Pumpkinny Broski, Turnippy Broski, Potty Broski. - Fabellia now has some buyable decorations used to spruce up the Hub. These include a welcome mat, torches, blinged up throne, statue, and boned up or overgrown aesthetic. She also now looks after the Crypt Paints and the way she discovers fashions is now random (so works like Goblusious). The Crypt Paint colours have had some tweaks so are a bit brighter and nicer colours. - The Memory Skull is now used to load in-progress runs (instead of being asked when starting a new run). The saving is now also done automatically with a tip popup to indicate this (instead of being asked to save every time). - The Magic Mirror can now set your fashion to global or class specific, so you can individually set your hat, cloak colour, and crypt decorations, to apply to either all classes or just the current class. Castle Conquest game mode changes... - The game mode is now unlocked after beating the King and there's now a tutorial ghost that shows up in the Hub when unlocked. - Stage 1 now takes place in a new map behind your crypt (so you can now set up a Contraption layout specifically for the Conquest game mode). - Stage 11 now takes place in a new Wizarding Librarium where endless Seers and a Wizarding Council await. - Stage 10 now uses the old stage 11 Town. In the General Settings a new Display option has been added called Fullscaling. It's a bit of a mix between Fullscreen and Borderless Window so you can set a resolution for the game screen which is shown in the middle of your monitor and then any remainder space around it is filled with black. Useful for if you use an unusual monitor resolution and a cluttered desktop as it's a more immersive version of Windowed mode. Note when set to Fullscaling the Resolution option will also change to Resolution Scaling (which you can adjust) to guarantee that the game screen will always use pixel perfect scaling no matter your desktop resolution. //misc changes (most of these are just to make the Demo nicer to play) - The "translation_reference.csv" file has been updated (added: MnSet_Gen_Fullscaling, MnSet_Gen_Opt2_Scale, MtCl_Wretch_StartBarrow_Desc2). - You now get +1 Gold Coin per second you survive capped to +50 (just to speed up the very early game a bit). - Behemoth Miner minion: You now need the Boned Burrows meta at level 2 to be offered this minion. - Waxen Elven Enchantress minion: They can now also be raised by sacrificing 2 Keepers or 2 Scouts (instead of needing one of each). - Pumpkined Comets spell: There's now a chance some of the falling pumpkins will be huge pumpkins depending on the spell casting power level. - Big Boo Haunt enemy: The size of his collision mask has been reduced (tended to get stuck behind obstacles). - Lord of the Land boss: The Flagbearer enemies that spawn mid-fight now use a new Trumpeter sprite. - Lost Maiden traveller event: If you choose the option that spawns Knights then it will now also spawn a Trumpeter (so it's clearer what the event option does). - Honey pickups: The amount your Max Health is boosted by when collecting Honey is now reduced if you have a lot of Max Health already. - Curse of Envy: This will now temporarily give you random hats throughtout the curse. //bug fixes - Boneworld Challenges: The Courtier Clown's 'Sticky the Stupendous' and 'Sleight of Hand' meta weren't being correctly seeded. - The issue where tabbing out when fullscreen could create a mini-screen could still happen (surely it's fixed now). - Royal Guard enemies: During Halloween/Christmas mode their Meanie Outline wasn't showing correctly.Patch v35.19Oct 16, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsTis the time of spooks and so a Halloween mode has been added. This works in the same way as the Christmas mode so just adds some seasonal sprite changes such as King Gigald being ousted by the Plump Pumpking. If you hate fun you can turn the Seasonal stuff off in the settings (or keep it on permanently). The way your Minion's Damage Per Second stat is calculated is now a bit different. Previously it would just keep track of how long the minion was Alive and how much total Damage he'd done and just use that to determine his DPS stat. The issue with this is a minion raised early on would have a lower DPS than the same minion raised later on as more and more meanies spawn later. Instead it now keeps track of Damage the minion does at a couple of set intervals (2 minutes, 5 minutes, All Time) and then uses which ever is higher. So typically all minions now use a DPS set within their last 2 minutes, though can fall back to the 5 minute interval during a long boss fight. This means all minions will pretty much use the same metric no matter when they were raised. The list of minion Damage shown on the Status Screen and Game Over are now ordered by DPS instead of Total Damage as it's now much more accurate. The Game Over screen now shows the enemy that mercilessly pounded you so tenderly. A new meanie has been added called the Giga Chesty Mimic who like their little brothers will sometimes reveal themselves when you stray close to a Giga Treasure Chest. 2 new Traveller events have been added. The Curse Wracked allows you to choose a Curse, while the Fortuity's Herald allows you to choose a Traveller Event. //misc changes - The "translation_reference.csv" file has been updated. - Improved performance when there's a lot of enemies. - Compendium - Artefact Relics: Some relics have been re-organised so are now grouped with similar relics (eg defensive/damage/boneraise/etc). - The Pumpkin Treat hat is now unlocked from the start and has moved next to the Santa hat (so can be used during the Halloween event). - If an enemy dies and had a Deathen Curse then the amount of Health he had upon death is now added to the Damage stat of the minion that inflicted the Curse (so minions like the Tamed Necarch have a more accurate Damage stat). - Berry Bro / Big Raspiberry Bro minions: They now have a higher base alpha so they're easier to see when their head will explode (in case you have a low Ghostly Minions setting). - Tamed Immortis Necarch: The amount of ghosts he summons and how long they last for has been increased (so the Necarch's Damage output is more in line with the Werewolf Prince). - Spring Sandals relic: This now says in its description how long the Haste duration is for. - Aromatic Mushroom relic: This now says in its description how much it boosts Dashing. - Ethereal/Desectrated Relics: These have swapped effects with each other (makes more thematic sense). - Gemmy Lankler enemy: During Christmas/Halloween mode they will now all wear the Santa/Pumpkin h...
