First off, thank you to all our Adventurers who enjoy playing Black Desert through the Steam platform. We want to announce that the separately managed, Black Desert and Black Desert Online, Steam titles will be unified into a singular Black Desert title during the maintenance on June 23 (Wed). Once this happens, Adventurers in North America, Europe, Russia, Turkey & MENA, Thailand, and the Southeast Asia regions will be able to play Black Desert under one Steam Store page, and freely discuss and share their thoughts in one community. Please note that the unification of Steam App ID does not mean that the game servers are being unified; you will still be playing on your existing region’s server after this change. Furthermore, we ask that you carefully read the following information. 1. There will be two titles displayed in your Library. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32564537/069d5d1e62eb0ecd8a722f1eb0861007822e96ad.png After the maintenance, you will now see two titles, Black Desert and Black Desert (Retired). 2. If you want to play the game, you must select the Black Desert title. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32564537/199cc584c75424ef75b7969b0ad1268eb2f27125.png Once you select Black Desert, you’ll be able to access the designated server according to your Steam account’s country/region. 3. Check out the newly opened hunting ground and seemingly endless rewards! ■ Newest Hunting Ground and Goal for the Aspiring - Located in Kamasylvia, the Ash Forest is a hunting ground with the highest recommended AP and DP (300 AP and 400 DP) in the world of Black Desert; thus, demanding the utmost caution when you venture into these dangerous woods. However, defeating the fearsome monsters lurking in this forest will grant you the chance to obtain the “Deboreka's Necklace”, said to possess spectres’ hatred itself. The spectres of Ash Forest are overflowing with hatred for the living and will not be easily distracted by summons or magic, meaning these monsters will prioritize attacking your character above all! This region is an extremely treacherous and dangerous one, so make sure you’re fully prepared before taking up its challenge. Getting your hands on a “rare item” that will make you be a source of envy… one of the pivotal, romanticized concepts of the fantasy game genre. Of course such a rare item means it requires rare materials as well, so shouldn’t you hurry to get them? (Whispering) Rumor has it that you need to collect the necessary sacraments to receive the blessing of Merindora, the Eldest Spirit of Kamasylvia, and then collect hidden relics. ■ Sails that Command the Wind - Seafaring Adventurers take notice, “Ebenruth’s Nol” have been added! If you equip this treasured carrack-exclusive item, Ebenruth's Nol, your ship can use BreezySail twice in a row. While making “Ebenruth’s Nol” isn’t as difficult as “Ebenruth”, it lets you sail faster and more nimbly that before by controlling the winds. Adventurers can now seek exclusive rewards by diving into these events. Mystical Ellie’s Water Festival has returned with more exciting events this year. Until April 22, Adventurers can complete event quests in Terrmian Beach and pop Splashy Water Balloons using certain items that they received from the quests. They can also get Traces of a Festival by defeating monsters, gathering, fishing or staying logged in for 1 hour. Moreover, those who defeat a Rock Tree Stoneback Crab can claim rewards that can be exchanged for exclusive items. Adventurers in Velia can now accept quests from Clorince to collect Goose Eggs until April 22. Those who complete the quests will be rewarded one of five different Flondor Goose Eggs. Adventurers who collect these eggs can claim special items and buffs including Goose Egg Furniture items. The Abandoned Monastery has been renewed with more powerful enemies. The Shadow Knights of Calpheon that reside in the Abandoned Monastery have been engulfed by Kzarka’s evil powers. Monsters in certain underground places of the Monastery have become a lot more powerful. The enraged monsters now have a “Blessed by Kzarka” title and drop Dawn Earrings, a new accessory. Last but not least, the World Boss schedule for Black Desert SEA has been updated. To celebrate the update, Adventurers who defeat certain bosses can claim a Shiny Ring until April 22. The Shiny Ring can be exchanged for Belongings of an Adventurer, which can be opened to claim an exclusive item. Registration For Arena of Arsha 2020 Now Available in Black Desert SEAMar 25, 2020 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32564537/61a5397f7f28f886b81f0a5706ca385d00a6f68d.jpg Registrations for “Arena of Arsha 2020 - Class Tournament” have opened. Starting today, Adventurers can register for the opportunity become a famous master of their class! Arena of Arsha is a special battle tournament that allows Adventurers to become the operator and set the rules of various PVP matches. This year, the tournament will run for individual participants only who must sign-up using a Trial Character of the relevant class. Adventurers can sign-up until April 5 through Black Desert SEA’s official website. Only one class per family can be registered and that class cannot be changed after registration. The latest information on the tournament, including its rewards and specifications, will be updated on the official website. In addition, drop rates will increase not only for hunting, but also for fishing and gathering until April 8. Precious items such as Black Stones, Ancient Relic Crystal Shards, Hard Black Crystal Shards, and Sharp Black Crystal Shards can now be obtained with a higher chance of success. Last but not least, Oasis events are taking place for those seeking valuable rewards. Starting today, Adventurers can complete special quests, purchase exclusive items from the NPC Ellie, and obtain a Dream Chest for every 30 minutes of gameplay (up to a maximum 12 chests can be obtained each day).Last Succession Update Arrives in Black Desert With Special EventsMar 4, 2020 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32564537/3072733fcd9c27ca78bd8fd319725d7fdeca1fbc.jpg The long series of Succession updates have come to an end in Black Desert, with the final class, the Guardian receiving her Succession update today. Adventurers can now make their Guardians stronger while also participating in various special events that are taking place to mark the end of the Succession series. With the final Succession update, Adventurers can further level up their Guardians by learning powerful Succession skills. These skills can be unlocked at level 56 by completing a number of Black Spirit quests. Those who reach levels between 56 and 60 will also get other special rewards depending on the level they reach. Until March 18, a Mysterious Knight will appear randomly in hunting grounds, enabling Adventurers to gain Skill EXP + 300%, which will last 180 minutes. Adventurers can also get exclusive items through Challenges for every 30 minutes of gameplay (up to a maximum of 2 hours). Following Valentine’s Day, another romantic occasion White Day has arrived in Black Desert. Until March 18, Adventurers can obtain Sweet Candy Bags by defeating monsters, fishing, and gathering. The Sweet Candy Bags can be exchanged for valuable items or used for special buffs.
