Video games are obviously a breeding ground for challenge, and in games with health, managing to not take a single hit is certainly one of the bigger ones. Now, streamer and YouTuber Hayete Bahadori has been able to do just that, with all 12 mainline Assassin's Creed games (thanks Kotaku). Bahadori completed this months long challenge in April, uploading the second part of his Assassin's Creed Valhalla run on April 11. There's an entirety playlist dedicated to this journey which you can check out below, though you'll need to set aside a good chunk of time. As the entire playlist runs for over 80 hours. It’s unlikely that this would apply to last-gen consoles given how they work, meaning players would need a PS5 or an Xbox Series X/S to really benefit from it. Still, given how the following two entries in the series both can run at 60 FPS and Origins represents the new beginning point for the series, it’s only appropriate that Origins achieves technical parity. That way, players who want to get into the series don’t have to prepare for a technical downgrade. The Assassin’s Creed franchise keeps rolling on. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla keeps getting DLC, with the latest being the rather meaty Dawn of Ragnarok. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Infinity, the ambitious live-service platform for the franchise, is still in its early development stages and won’t be free to play when it releases. It means the studios' debut project will be funded by EA and be shown on the same stage as the publisher's biggest games, as well as fellow EA Originals such as A Way Out, Fe, and Sea of Solitude. The announcement caps off a successful first year for Silver Rain Games, a remote studio headed up by former BAFTA Games programme manager Melissa Phillips and Salim himself - who you may know better as Bayek in Assassin's Creed Origins or Father in the Ridley Scott HBO series Raised by Wolves. If there’s one thing you should know about my gaming habits it’s that I unironically bloody love me some Assassin’s Creed. That means the older sneaky-stabby AC and the more modern shouty-pillage fests like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Assassin’s Creed Origins is the awkward middle step between the two, acting as the series’ first go at a proper RPG. Read more Assassin's Creed's educational tours of Ancient Egypt and Greece are free on PCMay 14, 2020 - EurogamerThe whole going outside and doing stuff thing might be a bit restricted at the moment, but Ubisoft has just the tonic in the form of its latest freebies. For one week, it's giving away Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Origins' marvellous Discovery Tours, so you can get a bit of roaming done, and put some learning in you too. Ubisoft's first Discovery Tour attempt arrived as part of Assassin's Creed Origins, giving players the opportunity to explore the entirety of the game's sprawling recreation of Ancient Egypt, albeit without the questing and constant peril. It's designed to be an educational tool, offering informative, entertaining museum-style tours of virtual history, as curated and assembled by actual historians. And so successful was that first attempt, Ubisoft did all again for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, opening the doors of virtual Ancient Greece for similarly engrossing, but considerably enhanced meandering. This makes grim sense to me, as I'm being tortured by what seems to be my own personal demon, a foul creature which stabs at me from depths of minutiae that I can never seem to delve into to any satisfying extent. Percentages roar angrily around my head, and numbers course relentlessly through my veins. I wasn't always like this. I only wanted to play Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. I hadn't played a Tomb Raider game for about two decades, but I thought I'd give this one a go for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I was curious to see how far the series had come over that time. Secondly, it was free with Xbox Games With Gold.
