Long time no see. We hope this message finds you well and in good health. It's been a while since we last spoke, but we're excited to catch up with you today. We are grateful for your continued support of Aquaculture Land and want to provide an update on the development of the game. A few months ago, we made the decision to return to the development of the game in order to complete the Career Mode. Although our team is smaller than before, we are committed to doing our best to finish the game and move on from the Early Access phase. You can read our last information on why we halted the development here. First of all, We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who still supports this game and also to you who provided valuable feedback to help us improve the game. And for our news after hiatus, as our responsibility for the development of Aquaculture Land, we have now completed the game by finishing the Career Mode and are pleased to announce that Aquaculture Land is now exiting the Early Access phase. The Career Mode content is the continuation of the story from the last demo, as you meet and work with the seven characters who will help you on your journey to becoming a successful fish farmer. We've also refined certain features that previously lacked tutorials, and have now included them in the Career Mode. In this released version, we have also added new customer requests. There will be more varied requests that you'll need to complete to increase your bond level with customers so you can continue your journey. Cheers! Update Regarding Development StateJun 19, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsHello guys. Long time no see. Today we have something to tell you about Aquaculture Land. Because of several issues in the development department, we are very sorry we need to halt Aquaculture Land development since this month. It was a hard decision for us to do it. But we must do it for the good of the game itself. Our team needs to regularly switch tasks between Aquaculture Land and another project in the few past months. That's why the development becomes very slow. So we decided to halt the development temporarily until the team can fully focus on Aquaculture Land. We will continue the development again when this issue is finished. We can't give you the exact time plan when we will be back, but it will be much longer than we think because our team is needed in a different department for now. We already completed the design of the story for the campaign mode. But because of the issues, we need to postpone the update because the team still needs time to implement it in the game. Don't worry, we won't abandon Aquaculture Land. We have so much great feedback from you guys that need to be done and another roadmap design from us that still half developed. There are few more game design updates that we want to discuss with you guys. We will be back to Aquaculture Land for sure! We sincerely apologize to all of you guys, to the community because we need to halt Aquaculture Land development. How are you today? It's been a long time since our last update about Aquaculture Land. We apologize for not providing any updates so far. We are currently working on the system and design that we will apply to Aquaculture Land. And also one thing or another that keeps us from giving news at all. Today we still talking about Customer Request. In the last devlog, we already talked about 2 of them (which already implemented in Career Mode and Free Mode), Urgent Order Request and Market Demand Request, so today we will talk about other types of Customer Request that we will implement to the game. Let's go!!! Like we mentioned before, Customer Request is a type of request that involves customers such as customer orders, market demand, and visitors (fishing). There are 2 types of requests related to customer order, 2 types of requests related to market demand, and 3 types of requests related to visitors. In accordance with the title of today's devlog, this time we will talk about Customer Request that is related to order and market demand. We will talk about Customer Request that is related to visitors later. Customer Request: Contract Order Request Contract Order Request has more or less the same objectives as Urgent Order Request, which is to deliver a number of fish in accordance with requests from the customer. Lots of changes have occurred when compared to the initial version. Especially in terms of appearance and of course the existing features. So without further ado, this is the current version of Aquaculture Land! New Languages In the current version, we already support 7 languages that you can choose from. We use the building icon as a representation of the customer because each customer will come from various backgrounds. Sorry for the inconvenience. There is an issue in the Achievement where it did not trigger correctly since the update on 23 Dec 2020. Thank you very much to @bnstool76 for pointing out the problem in the discussion. If anyone happens to encounter the problem, after today's update the problem is fixed but you need to trigger it once more to get the Achievement. For example, if you did not get the Master of Snail achievement where you need to sell 500kg of Snail, but you already do more than that, you just need to sell the snail once again to trigger the achievement. We realize that there are several parts related to QoL that we can improve to make Aquaculture Land better and easier to understand. We add some new icons to the town map, requests, breeding, work signs, fish boxes in storage, and also on the list of requests taken. We changed the popup urgent order, which was originally vertical, to horizontal. How’s your day? In the past few weeks, we are making preparations for the next update and preparations for the new systems to come. The next update will focus more on QoL and some UX updates because we still feel that this is lacking and we also get some feedback about it. So, without further ado, let’s start today’s devlog! New Item: Auto Machine We got some feedback regarding things related to repeated activiy in the nurture systems which annoys some of you. From your feedback we compiled the idea to make an item design that would make it easier for you in terms of harvesting, feeding, and seeding. We plan to implement automation systems for harvesting, feeding, and seeding. So, later when you have reached a certain point, you can use items that can automatically harvest, feed, and seed. This way, it will be easier for you to manage your farm. In version 0.8.2, there are some changes and additions that we have added to the game. The additions and changes in version 0.8.2 also come from your feedback and suggestions. Thank you very much for your support so far, it really helps us in the development process. So, what are the updates this time? Without further ado, let's check it out! Move Item Feature The idea of the move item feature comes when you place an item in the wrong spot (aerator, generator, water filter), to put it back in the position you want, you have to sell the item first and then put the new one in the position you want. Isn't that step too long? Some of you suggested a feature that can make players easier to move the items they have installed. And then we decided to add this feature to the game. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/33884897/5303e3f7e8f0e5d7392bcbec3d5acdb8d333ec67.gif New Worker Appearance We changed the appearance of the workers. We feel when your farm is full of visitors who come to fish, the appearance of workers in the previous version will make them look like other visitors and sometimes make us confuse. That's why we changed their appearance, made them a uniform so that they look more stand out when in a crowd of visitors.
