Two Amazing Pre-Summer EventsMay 7, 2024 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/10850732/cec02a28946a8e3b16f7e1e8d154688058b04a86.jpg Two high-risk events and powerful rewards await: Beat the challenge in the Rift of Oblivion and reclaim Atreia’s Lost Treasures! Event 1: The Rift of Oblivion Battle through the instance, defeat the boss and earn rewards! Prove that you’ve got the tactical skills necessary to survive the Rift of Oblivion. Use the power of nature to clear your path all the way to the final boss. If you leave the battle victorious, you can expect fantastic rewards like the Luxurious Suit, Ancient Transformation Contract Selection Box, Ultimate Fragment of Memory and much more! Running: 7th May (9 AM) to 11th June (8:59 AM CEST) Enter the Rift The entrance to the instance is located in the fortresses in Gelkmaros and Inggison. You can enter the Rift of Oblivion once per day. Defeat the Shadow of Oblivion Fight your way through the instance and defeat the final enemy: the Shadow of Oblivion! Your rank depends on the number of points you score and how much time is left. The better your rank, the higher your reward will be: 21,200 points and 18 minutes left → 4x Sealed Memory Bundle 17,700 points and 16 minutes left → 3x Sealed Memory Bundle 14,100 points and 10 minutes left → 2x Sealed Memory Bundle 9,400 points and 1 minute left → 1x Sealed Memory Bundle Instance Tips Take our tips to heart and you’ll complete the Rift of Oblivion with flying colours: There are three Teleport Stones along the way through the instance which are activated when you approach them. If you fail and die, you can continue from the last Teleport Stone you activated. Recovering Drakan can be found throughout the instance. After you defeat one, there’s a chance that a Drakan will reappear which can score you a lot of points. The three Commander Gegares you’ll come across in the rift grant you massive amounts of experience, but they don’t earn you any points. So pick the right moment to fight them. The Shadow of Oblivion transforms when its health is low. Adapt quickly or it will win the upper hand. Some monsters are of certain type which is weak against particular Old High Daevas: The Incarnation of Fire is strong against mage type enemies. The Incarnation of Water is strong against special type enemies. The Incarnation of Earth is strong against assassin type enemies. The Incarnation of Wind is strong against warrior type enemies. Play to win valuable prizes – including the Transformation Contract: Ariel, Hip & Fit Look, Class A, Level 4 Minion Contract Selection Box (5 types) and many more. Running: 6th March (9 AM CET) to 3rd April (9 AM CEST) To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens which can be purchased in the shop until 27th March. During the entire duration of the event, you’ll also get three free Shugo Game Tokens per week in the AION Shop. How the Shugo Game Works Click on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right of your screen to open the Shugo Game. Then click on Continue to start the game. This will use a Shugo Game Token. Try to upgrade the weapon to its maximum level (8) to earn the highest-level reward. Any time you want, you can click on Stop to end the game and you’ll get the reward for the level you got up to. It’s also possible for upgrading to fail. Should this happen, you will receive the level 1 reward. If you want to restart the game, you’ll need another Shugo Game Token. Using Shugo Game Tokens fills the bar at the top with Shugo Game Points. Once it’s full, this triggers the Nyerk Fever. While active, your chances of successfully upgrading and of winning more valuable prizes both increase. Notes At the end of the event, the Lucky Coins will be removed from the AION Shop. The Shugo Game Tokens will be removed both from the AION Shop as well as the game. Logging out or switching characters while playing a Shugo Game will automatically give you the prize for the level you got up to. You cannot resume the game where you left off. Courageous Daevas are setting out to hunt monsters there, looting valuable chests and careering fearlessly into brutal skirmishes! As rewards for the bravest among them, the +12 Extreme Weapon Selection Box, Sakhril and Fingerheart await. Running: 6th March (9:00 AM) to 29th May (8:59 AM CET) How the Event Works Tiamaranta’s Eye awaits you: Pit yourself against other players in PvP, seize victory for your faction in RvR, go monster hunting or scour the region for exquisite chests. Face off against powerful opponents every day – defeat Governor Sunayaka and Berserker Sunayaka, and premium rewards will drop for you! Entering Via the Rift You can reach Tiamaranta’s Eye via a rift in Gelkmaros or Inggison. Players from any server can join in the fight – the Dimension Hourglass isn’t required to enter. Inside Tiamaranta’s Eye Governor Sunayaka or Berserker Sunayaka will appear in the Commander’s Room in the centre of the area at the following times: Every day from 1 PM to 1:30 PM → Governor Sunayaka Monday to Friday from 8 PM to 8:30 PM → Governor Sunayaka or Berserker Sunayaka Saturday to Sunday from 8 PM to 8:30 PM → Berserker Sunayaka Please note: since enemies will also drop normal items, the alliance/league leader should adjust the distribution settings accordingly (Distribution Settings → Roll Dice: Normal items or above) Rental Equipment and Buff For a little Kinah, the NPC Lisnerk in Tiamaranta’s Eye will lend you a completely enchanted set of Acrimony equipment – the Equipment Chest of Acrimony contains two weapons and armour for you class! The chest and the equipment disappear as soon as you leave Tiamaranta’s Eye. The NPC Boronerk will give you a free ultimate transformation buff of your choice: Kaisinel, Marchutan, Ereshkigal or Tiamat. The strengthening spell remains for 30 minutes, even after death. But if you leave Tiamaranta’s Eye, the buff will be removed. The minions’ Buff Master function can override the buff, however. Please deactivate or remove the Transformation Scrolls to avoid this. Rewards Protectorate Gold Coins Protectorate Gold Coins can be earned for completing quests or opening treasure chests. You can trade in your coins for high-quality items with the NPCs Arseus and Lechi. Treasure Chests You’ll need keys to open the treasure chests that you will find throughout Tiamaranta’s Eye. Running: 7th February (9:00 AM) to 6th March (9:00 AM CET) Unknown Feelings Talk to the Shugo Chocrinerk in the Guardian Garrison or Archon Garrison in Aphsaranta and talk to him about love. He will offer you the daily quest Chocrinerk’s Desire. You need to kill 10 members of the opposite faction to complete it, and in reward you’ll receive 4x Unknown Feelings. You can also earn 4x Unknown Feelings for completing the first and second level posting quests (Elyos: Heavenly Lights/Sundew Corps, Asmodians: Shadowbringers/Black Dawn Corps). Completing the first level Nightshade Clan/Ancient Clan posting quests also earns you 4x Unknown Feelings. Hearts & Love Bundles Use your Unknown Feelings to receive either an Right Heart or an Left Heart (both are tradeable). Once you have both halves, you can combine them to make an Complete Heart. Packing a Complete Heart, go and find Choconerk in the Inggison Illusion Fortress or the Gelkmaros Fortress. The love-hungry Shugo will be only too happy to take those hearts off your hands and reward you with an Love Bundle. The Power of Love While the cities of Sanctum and Pandaemonium are decked out for the celebration of love, Saint Valentine has a special surprise in store for lovebirds. Visit her in the Guardian Garrison or Archon Garrison in Aphsaranta and pick up a powerful buff for just 1 Kinah which lasts an hour. Greenhaven Garden has opened its gates for all Daevas to garden to their hearts’ content. The watering cans, spades and bags of organic fertiliser are waiting. But what’s that? Lots of different pests are trying to attack the plants, threatening this prestigious garden project – this can’t happen. Help the other Daevas to defeat the pests! In this event you can pick up rewards such as the Sweet Couples’ Costume, Valentine’s Weapon Selection Box and many more. Additionally, you can reap loads of experience points during this event! In the AION Shop you’ll also find various entry scrolls on offer. You can choose between two difficulty levels: Normal: Recommended from level 80. You receive 1x Lotus Blossom for each saved plant. Hard: Recommended from level 85. You receive 2x Lotus Blossom for each saved plant. Save the Plants As soon as you enter the garden, you’ll have to go after the pests to save the plants. A timer counts down from 60 minutes, displaying how much time is left. Beautiful Greenhaven Fladia, Arbour Fladia, as well as marvellous Greenhaven Frightcorn and Arbour Frightcorn flourish in the garden. But pests like the Dukaki Thief and Greenhaven Tenaklu are attacking in several waves that you need to repel. You can use Combat Support to make a stand against the attacks. Time to Harvest Get harvesting once the plants have reached their Harvesting Stage. Depending on the difficulty level, each plant contains 1 to 2 lotus blossoms. You can exchange the blossoms for valuable rewards (Valentine’s Day items, Sakhril Chest) with the kind NPC Gymir. You’ll find him in the Gelkmaros Fortress or the Inggison Illusion Fortress. Explore the area and defeat the monsters before they invade Balaurea. Awards await you like the Transformation Contract: Ereshkigal, Box of Class S Minion Contracts (10 types) and the +6 Extreme Equipment Chest! Running: 17th January 2024 to 7th February 2024 Venture Down the Hellpath Speak with Snoopinerk who will give you the task to enter the Secret Hellpath. Then it’s up to you to defend Atreia against the monster invasion for 20 minutes. Use the Energy of Protection dropped by fallen monsters – destroying them gives you a currency which you can spend on weapons for the instance, as well as improvements to your skills. Depending on how well you do during the defence, you’ll receive the following rewards: 10:00 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 3x Camo Chest Key, 3x Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath7:30 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 1x Camo Chest Key, 1x Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath If you have less then 7:30 minutes remaining and earned fewer than 220,000 points, you’ll go away empty-handed. During your battle on the Hellpath, it’s possible that you’ll meet a nasty Wildcat. Defeat it and then grab the Incognito Key and the Key for Gold Camo Chest. Using the Incognito Key you can open the door behind which the Gold Camo Chest is located. Please note that you’ll lose both keys as soon as you leave the instance. Get Meteorite Debris As a reward, you can get a Orichalcon Hammer from the Camo Chest or the AION Shop. You can use this to process the remnants of the Glowing Meteorite to get the Glowing Meteorite Bundle.
