Aetherspace v 1.3.3 - Platform update and a few bug squishedSep 8, 2017 - Community Announcements- Fixed a bug that caused enemy ships to perform an Immelman entering the battle... thus exiting the battle right away. - Tweaked the code for the Ion Pulser. Shouldn't change anything, but it had to be done.Aetherspace v 1.3.3 - Platform update and a few bug squishedSep 8, 2017 - Community Announcements- Fixed a bug that caused enemy ships to perform an Immelman entering the battle... thus exiting the battle right away. - Tweaked the code for the Ion Pulser. Thanks to all the users who reported these issues!Aetherspace v 1.2.0Jul 12, 2017 - Community Announcements- Changed all the pilot, dialog and Black Market merchants artwork - Added a whole bunch of keyboard shortcuts and ways to move and zoom the map, and select and cycle through ships. - Made some changes to improve the usability of the UI during battle. Now only one ship menu at a time can be open. Plus, when a ship has its menu open, its corresponding Destination Marker flashes, and when you start dragging a Destination Marker its corresponding ship flashes. - Added a few tutorial lines here and there. - Added a menu option to disable the teletype effect when opening ship menus. - Added a message when starting a new game with the tutorial enabled that warns the player that the tutorial enables some game features gradually, such as the multiplayer. - Fixed a bug that caused the Science Station tutorial to restart every time mission 6 was loaded. - Sped up the opening of the space station's landing pads doors and disabled their colliders as soon as they start opening. This should prevent players from crashing if landing when the doors are not completely open and sometimes exploding when they take off with too much roll on their longitudinal axis. - Fixed a problem on the Trigger Happy skill, whiche prevented the user from spending skill points on it. - Fixed a bug that caused the Destination Marker to be hidden by certain objects. Still working on some issues: - A game freeze during the first mission as soon as the informant is found. - A wrong mission outcome at the end of the second mission, when the player exited the borders with the capsule, yet the mission ended in a defeat. - An asteroid placed in the spawn area of the enemy in mission 6. Should you experience any of the above (or any other issue), please let me know. Thanks and have fun!Aetherspace v 1.2.0Jul 12, 2017 - Community Announcements- Changed all the pilot, dialog and Black Market merchants artwork - Added a whole bunch of keyboard shortcuts and ways to move and zoom the map, and select and cycle through ships. - Made some changes to improve the usability of the UI during battle. No more infinite skill points, sorry :-) - Fixed a bug that sometimes caused a starship's hull color to be set at 6 when selected in the Hangar. - Fixed a bunch of typos. Yep, I won't misspell 'loose' and 'lose' ever again. - Enlarged the collider used to rotate Deflectors. Now they should be easier to rotate around. - Starbases are surrounded by a larger asteroid-free area, to prevent situations where a pilot takes off only to crash directly into an asteroid. - Added a few lines of tutorial about Maneuvers. - Players can now zoom in and out on the battle screen using the Up and Down arrow keys. - Pilots can be given call signs. Call signs can be generated randomly or chosen manually. - The gang's upkeep cost is now zero until the optional missions are unlocked, to avoid players going bankrupt during the tutorial. I haven't been able to reproduce a couple of other issues yet, namely: - A game freeze during the first mission as soon as the informant is found. - A wrong mission outcome at the end of the second mission, when the player exited the borders with the capsule, yet the mission ended in a defeat. - A ship exploding on its own when taking off from the starbase during mission 6. Should you experience any of the above (or any other issue), please let me know.
