Update Note 2.1.0.3Apr 27, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsIn this patch, European version is now brought up to date with the other version. In addition, We've upgraded to the latest Unreal engine 4 version along with a few minor graphical tweaks. This will lay a foundation for a future update to take graphical fidelity to new heights and bring it to the next gen console. We have also made some Gameplay tweak such that some egregious zones should now be less frustrating for the players. For a limited time, AeternoBlade II: Director's Rewind owners can get the Halloween hat costume DLC for free. The hat will only appear during the event after installing the DLC. We also made Ultimate Freyja DLC costume available for purchase. We originally planned to release Ultimate Freyja DLC costume along with Director's Rewind Console Patches but failed to meet the deadline and the release of Ultimate Freyja DLC is postponed. We apologize for misinformation and inconveniences caused. Here are changes made to the game in this Halloween patch: Show more Stats in Memorandum, this will help in tracking Director's Rewind achievements. Base Mana increases by 20 for Knight of Chronosia, Ridgerode Militia, and Time Traveler difficulty settings. 3D Camera bug fix when using Freyja's DLC. 3D deflect projectile wrong force direction fixed. Fixed projectile bug that does not deal damage when the player is killed. Fixed bug that enemy projectile does not deal damage sometimes. Cheers. ABII:DR Team.Patch r16840: Fix Felix & Bernard Route BugsOct 10, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsDear Chronosians, This patch addressed several critical bugs that we left them intact for so long. \(T^T)/ Felix and Bernard do not get proper level up on their move sets after the Cerberus encounter. This causes the game to be much more difficult than we intended. If you are stuck and get frustrated when playing as Felix and Bernard for the second time. The long standing vanishing pause menu character. We finally found our the root cause and get rid of the bug once and for all this time. Unachievable Achievements should now function properly. Thanks to lindtec for reporting this bug and suggest additional statistic tracking screen to help in achievement hunting. We will additional stat tracker in, hopefully, the next patch in English (some localizations may not be ready by the next patch). Templars are more resilient to staggering at critical health to facilitate player's counter attack. Fixed possible camera going behind the wall during Cerberus boss fight phase 1. Fixed HUD showing misleading buttons when using time skill. Fixed Freyja's Time Travel weapon visual. Optimized Freyja's attack visual effects Poison fog visual now better fit its hitbox. Fixed Savage Shaman and Savage Chieftain hitbox when their weapon is broken. Hellhound stuck in a hurt state. Fix possible multiple sub-boss summons during a boss fight. In this patch, we decided to significantly reduce HP Regen rate of monsters on Ridgerode Militia and Time Traveler Difficulty levels. We hope this will help smooth early game experiences and make the game more accessible to wider audiences. The patch also rebalances several encounters, upgrades overall game performance, and fixes critical bugs. Significantly reduce near-death monster hp regeneration rate in Ridgerode Militia and Time Traveler Difficulty levels. Fixed Character rendering in pause menu (again), hopefully it will work on all machines now. Rebalanced first Time Templar encounter. Rebalanced the final boss. Rebalanced Time Knight. Controller can now hold Time Trigger before trigger symbol appear. Player can also choose to use other time skills rather than forced to use Time Dodge or Time Parry afterward or forced to release Time Trigger. Improved game performance overall. Fixed game blocking bug when use ultimate during boss change phase for a secret boss. Fixed Time Paradox replay effect lives longer than usual and may cause performance problems. Fixed misplaced curved projectile impact effects. Fixed Golem's thrown stone allowing repeated perfect dodge abuse. Fixed Time Knight “slide” bug. Fixed Cerberus' charge attack, and flame visual should now work correctly with Time Reversal Skills. Fixed Rosaline DLC collision. And several other minor bugs. Cheers. We patched the game again for the remaining critical issues. Sorry for the delay. Fixed vanishing pause menu characters that occasionally happens on some machine configuration. Fixed Rosaline DLC hair/cloth physics messed up in some cinematic sequences. Fixed visual effects show up incorrectly in skill menu Fixed Freyja air kick combo loop bug when Freyja is out of blink and attempt to perform a special end combo attack. Fixed Freyja's air slash combo ending attack to behave correctly if hit heavily guarded target. Fixed enemy's Time Stop Sphere to work correctly against player's Time Paradox. We greatly appreciate the help from WhiteVolpe to help us out in analyzing crashing problem and found that our game may not support Windows 7 as described in the store page. Now, we removed "Windows 7" from supporting platform for now as we haven't thoroughly tested our game well on the environment and caused our players troubles. We continue to hunt down bugs that may get in the way of our brave warriors. Fixed Felix’s illusory counter that may persist after use. Time Keeper should no longer mercilessly continue to kick player against the wall to death. Fixed a rare “collision with corpse” bug. Fixed a rare bug that player can still perfect dodge if get hurt without hyper armor at the exact moment of dodge or a few frames later. Player can still perfect dodge during hurt if in hyper armor. Fixed issue with pause menu render target, reduce texture size to no larger than the screen size. If the texture quality is lower, the render target will be smaller as well. This should help low memory graphics card that cannot see 3D portrait or skill in pause menu. If the problem persists after texture quality is reduced please report issues to us. Fixed hook warp through wall in some zone. Fixed a “dark” boss’ possible halting bug. Fixed fall off during zone change bug. Fixed wrong materials assigned on DLCs when using time skill. Fixed Final Boss’ Timeless attack to work properly. Fixed final boss battle may replay ending cutscene and crashes. Fixed Corrupted Time Guardian’s beam effect during time reversal. Fixed sinking to ground after warp-hook bug. Cerberus’ Flame appear green when it is timeless. Fixed Asmund’s summon bug that can summon more than one minion in Time Paradox. In this patch, we attempted to fix most critical issues found after launched. Thanks for all the feedback and critics. We hope this help bring smoother game experiences and ease the learning curve of this game especially for new players. Fixed 3D Lock On, now it is much more stable. Better tutorials for Freyja, Felix, and Bernard. Now explicitly show how to perform various type of counter attacks. Bernard Parry tutorial now followed by Bernard Counter tutorial to encourage player to use either power counter or parry to finish off enemies instead of just Parrying. Time Soldier and Time Guard are more aggressive at critical health; therefore, less waiting time to finish them off. Brutal Boss at critical health's counter window no longer vanish if hit by strong attacks. Hopefully, reduced frame drop problems found in some zones. More save slot details. Fixed DLC materials used in low quality settings. Fixed possible crash after viewing cutscenes in gallery. Using Ultimate is no longer bugged in Engimata puzzles. Time Paradox can now open Enigmata during record session. Fixed buggy hookbox interactions found in memory cave. Added missing warning indicator to a boss' ultimate. Fixed lock on issue with python boss. Fixed DLC Freyja collision with monsters bug. Fixed Rosaline warp in cutscenes. and lots of other minor bugs fixed.
