Thank you!HARD MODE and PERMA DEATH now available!Nov 8, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsThe much requested HARD MODE and PERMA DEATH modes are now in game for you to play! Hard mode has the following changes: - Increased monster HP - Increased miniboss HP - Increased Boss HP - Increased enemy attack power for melee and spells - Increased enemy spell rate - Lower sell prices - Higher buy prices - Pets morph power is lower - Pets have slightly lower HP - Pets have lower capture rate - Pets have lower attack It is recommended to start a new game to make use of these modes, although you can upgrade your current game save to "Hard Mode" by following these instructions: To upgrade your game to "hard mode" - enter your game and then go to options->command and enter "hardmode" See the full post here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1154850/discussions/0/2998795613909519463/Zoomable MapOct 15, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsYou can now zoom in/out map using the buttons on the full map. You can navigate around this map using WASD for keyboard (or your assigned movement buttons) or the Right Stick using gamepad. I can make small improvements to this where possible, but please note a fully interactive zoomable map with x10000 features is probably never going to happen lol. Some more fixes this patch: - PC - Full map - ensure doesnt scale with GUI Scaling - Yenderh shiny card count fixed - Quest log - Curfian quest now shows correct NPC name (Blinmo) - Shadow guild shows "Tick" icon on fullmap - Sync world map to allow for Krinsor Dam changes Thank you!Quality of life and other fixes!Oct 12, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsThe new 1.30 patch is now available! It includes some Quality of Life features and fixes. - Move all creatures to storage button - you can now instantly put all your pet creatures into storage! This helps massively when trying to capture a new one! - Perma delete creature button (from storage) - Good bye rubbish creature! You can now manage your storage better by permanently deleting a creature! BE CAREFUL...! - Show Ladders on dungeon maps - This one will make the game a bit easier (sorry for whoever liked it that way) but a large majority of people are getting lost. As a little gesture towards improving maps, I've started by adding ladder locations to the dungeon maps. - Added 1600x900 resolution - Launcher now includes this much requested resolution! - Autosort puts equipped items at front - I think a few people requested this and it makes sense - using the Autosort button will put your equipped items at the front! Some smaller fixes: - Khennle quest gives correct dialogue after - Fyued quest "Beat everyone in Rhunden" fixed - Fishing skill EXP gain increased a lot Thank you! Last hotbar slot now binds to Right Click too!Oct 10, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsQuite a few of you had a great idea about binding one of the hotbar slots to the right mouse button. Well here it is! Simply drag whichever spell/item you want innto the last hotbar slot, and it will bind it to the right mouse button! Perfect for spells! Your mouse/keyboard controls are now even better! Thanks to you! GUI Scaling now in!Oct 8, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsI have implemented GUI Scaling as so many requested it. Basically it just resizes the whole game GUI based on your preference - some windows will NOT be scaled though, such as dialogue and card game windows. This is a technical limitation and will never change Please note, it would be SUPPPER difficult for me to allow you to resize each and every window- please don't ask for this as it will not really be possible at all - the game is multi-platform and as such the GUI is severly complicated already - please understand :( Thank you - you can change the setting from options, only works in-game, not the main menu! If you see any weirdness about this please let me know If you left a negative review based on this, please consider updating it if possible (try not to forget about it if you ARE satisfied! :) ) Thank youRe-bindable Keyboard controls now inOct 7, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsI have implemented a simple method to rebind the buttons on keyboard. Please note this feature is fairly experimental - in that, it is functional, with a few limitations. I wanted to just include it as soon as it was functional to allow people to use it if the default controls made the game unplayable. The limitations are: - The game graphics are NOT updated. Ie. it will still say "Press E to interact" even if you bind with "G" - The player has no accerlation/decelleration. They just run at full speed instantly (minor cosmetic) - The interface requires you to just input a button 1 at a time, as instructed - instead of a list. This will most likely not change, as it is the simplest way to implement a feature that you are likely only ever going to use once, after that it will autosave/load the settings and you never have to do it again. Thank you! If you have problems, please let me know.NOW AVAILABLE!Oct 5, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsAfter many years, the day has finally come. 9th Dawn III is now available! Please take a look and consider playing the game! There is a new experimental feature, "Speed-run mode" - which offers some different effects for your playthrough. It is not recommended to use Speed-run mode on your first playthough! But it is there to tempt you into trying a speed-run one day ;) For the full list of changes speed-run mode offers, please see this list: http://valorware.com/speedrun/ I will be welcoming suggestions for the speed-run mode to help it become more runnable! Thank you so much, I really hope you enjoy the game. Please consider leaving review if you do!
