Well, assuming you’re not fussed about hitting its elusive three-star reward on each level. If you are, then you’d better put the kettle on. Its follow-up, 10 Second Ninja X , was revealed earlier this year and looks to offer more of the same. Today publisher Curve Digital set July 19th as its launch day and marked the occasion with a new trailer: … 10 Second Ninja X Brings More Levels, Fewer SwastikasMar 6, 2016 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunIt’s just not historically accurate to have a ninja fight robot Hitler. Japan and Germany were allies during World War II, everybody knows that. So I’m glad that silliness is over with. I’m really precise about historical accuracy in my games. I’m talking about 10 Second Ninja, of course. Robot Hitler was also the reason why many levels were covered in swastikas, and the game had to be censored for German release. But the sequel seems to fix this major issue: the antagonist in 10 Second Ninja X is a pirate. We can settle the arduous question that has occupied historians for centuries. (Silly historians – it’s obvious ninjas are cooler than pirates.) … Controller Support and Leaderboard UpdateMay 15, 2014 - Community AnnouncementsHi all! We’ve just released a new update to fix some of the controller troubles people have been having, as well as the glitched scores that have been plaguing the leaderboard. We've also included a "Clutch Mode" option in the settings to make it harder to restart levels by accident by remapping retry to Back on the Xbox 360 controller. With this update comes a leaderboard wipe, but don’t worry; so long as you still have your save file, you can just boot the game and re-upload your times. Thanks for being ace! Wot I Think: 10 Second NinjaMar 3, 2014 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunDan Pearce won a BAFTA for his work with The Tall Trees on Castle In The Sky, a pastel-coloured platforming picture book about a young boy adrift in the clouds. It only makes sense that his solo project 10 Second Ninja, then, is about a ninja hacking his way through legions of inert machines under the command of Robot Hitler. It’s a swastika-laden game about mastery: you chain together shuriken throws and sword slashes to rid of a level of all its enemies within a ten second time limit, and then do it again to shave more seconds off your time. Faster times equal more stars, more stars equal unlocked boss fights and new worlds, and new levels with slight twists like enemies which require two strikes, or portals which you and your shuriken can travel through. And that’s wot I think. FAIL. Ah, wait, yeah. I left enemies on the field, and forgot to offer any critical judgement of the game I’m writing about. Let me try that again. …
