We have just pushed a new beta version of Wizard of Legend, accessible to everyone, under the name "controllerbeta". We hope to greatly increase controller support with this patch, but wanted to make sure we didn't introduce major bugs in the process. Update: There seems to be a bug with dying and re-joining the game. We'll look into this and update the beta as soon as possible. With this update, Tomi is finally satiated and will no longer be able to hold any new arcana. We've also added a new relic grouping system that will merge similar relics together into a collection so that you can save on inventory space. Channelling the best bits of Avatar: The Last Airbender, it sold the fantasy of being a kung-fu wizard through exacting, frantic combat. My only real gripe with it in my review here was that there just wasn’t enough of it. Today, developers Contingent99 addressed that, adding a bit more of everything to the arcade dungeon crawl, completely free. It now now features a wind-themed dungeon and corresponding arch-mage to fight, new spells to sling, new enemies to use them on, and an endless survival mode. Check it out in the trailer below. We’re back with another update and this time we’ll be going into a bit more depth on the changes the Sky Palace will bring! But in case you missed it, be sure to check out the teaser trailer for the update here! One thing we’d like to address is that we’re expecting the Sky Palace to launch in the early months of 2019 rather than at the end of this year as initially planned. We’re still in the process of putting the finishing touches on the update and we can’t thank you enough for your support thus far. Once you’ve cleared the chaos trials, you’ll find that a very mysterious old man begins to show up towards the end of the trials. This old man will allow you to spend some of your hard earned chaos gems to loop to the beginning of the trials with all the powerful artifacts you’ve collected on the way. However, upon looping to the beginning of the trials, you’ll find that things aren’t quite as rosy as you remember them being as all enemies will be significantly more difficult! But if you can survive, you just may be able to become the perfect wizard that you always dreamed of becoming! https://i.imgur.com/wrHQ7sR.gif Also, Nox the Unfortunate has now set up his cursed relic shop in Lanova Plaza. Though they’ll come at a steep price, these relics will be a bit more powerful than the standard curses and will drastically affect the trials as a whole. And of course, with every update, we’ll be adding new content in the form of arcana, relics, capes, enemies, and rooms to the game! He went on to sum it up as "an isometric dungeon crawler about clearing out procedurally generated labyrinths using elemental spells ranging from fists of flame and exploding boulders to ice spears and good old-fashioned lightning bolts." It's now sold 500,000 copies cross-platform, so that's on Switch, PS4, and Xbox One as well as PC. Although given its 2,451 reviews and Very Positive rating on Steam it's obviously doing quite well there. The game has just had a free update called Nocturne, which adds an NPC who will randomize your runs through the Chaos Trials. It also apparently includes "better load times, better framerate in single player and co-op, tweaks of Arcanas, and more." We're back with another patch and this time we've added a familiar NPC to Lanova Plaza that will help you randomize your runs through the Chaos Trials! Also, we've added French, German, and Russian language support to the game! This update also includes a few minor tuning and quality of life changes: - Obsidian Cascade: This arcana is now much more fluid to use and activates / exits roughly 20% quicker. The signature has also been tuned and is easier to aim, has a tighter spread, and throws 17 daggers instead of 15. The cooldown for this spell has been increased from 5.75 seconds to a flat 6 seconds. - Tomi, Ward, and Mimi will now only speak to you once per scene before making their services available to you. This was mainly so you don't have to keep skipping through dialog when trying out various magical artifacts. - Fixed a few minor bugs involving some unforeseen edge cases with a few of our relics.
