As there aren’t any outstanding new features or major bug fixes in this update (hear us out here!) – We’re getting into the nitty-gritties of addressing performance issues and crash rates that have been occurring. There are a number of contributing factors to players' game stability being interfered with, one of which being hardware longevity. In 2.18.0, we introduced a graphics quality setting cap for lower end devices with the intention of allowing said players to still enjoy the game, but not at the expense of relaunching the game over and over again, which as a result… dramatically taints the gameplay experience. The TD team have spent this update digging deeper into untouched corners of the game to implement more changes where possible to ultimately retune old systems, optimise the game better to cover a wider pool of devices, as well as making quality of life improvements to UI, game flow, and more!
