A surprising development, especially given that the game was up on the store for months without a single previous incident. According to the developer of LiP, the game wasn't even capable of violating the policy in question, as it is quote "too fricken small", and "doesn't do shit". When asked to clarify the reason for the violation, in order to potentially remedy the issue, the folks at Mad Genius Games were met with a blatant display of intentional neglect, receiving only the same automated message twice in a row, with no chance to speak to a representative on the subject. Google may not have wanted to respond to their messages, but the message was received loud and clear all the same: they want Life is Pointless to STAY gone. With his hands tied, the developer thought it important to put this announcement up now, while there is still a Steam page to announce from. It's only a matter of time before LiP gets to be too REAL for Steam as well, and be violently removed under similarly false pretenses. We only pray that the next time a developer decides to create a game poignantly highlighting the eternal emotional struggle of man in this modern age, they shall be received with the dignity and respect that a 99-cent game deserves. And they totally trashed Life is Pointless! The review is very thorough, and anyone thinking about getting the game should probably read this first. http://www.gamersheroes.com/honest-game-reviews/life-is-pointless-review/ The funny part is, I totally agree with everything the guy says here! He is totally right. But I think the thing he missed was the fact that all of these "negative" factors he listed were actually intentional parts of the design. It's SUPPOSED to be utterly ridiculous. Ah well, I guess some people just can't take a joke. :}
