Rules below! To celebrate the successful Jump King Workshop launch and our coming Jump King Anniversary we are holding a Workshop Competition!!! This event has three categories you can compete in and runs through April 28th Winners are presented during the Jump King anniversary May 3rd Categories: Best Map (Prize = 1x Jump King or Bogman Plushie + 1x $100 Steam Gift Card) Best Mod (Prize = 1x Jump King or Bogman Plushie + 1x $100 Steam Gift Card) Best Skin (Prize = 1x Jump King or Bogman Plushie + 1x $50 Steam Gift Card) Rules & Guidelines General Rules Must be a NEW creation for the competition Must contain only your own work (No copyrighted assets/material) Must have a functional thumbnail (50kb max) and at least (1) Screenshot! Must specify it is a in the workshop item description Gameplay (mods/maps) without the win condition of reaching the top are allowed Guidelines Focus on fun and creative challenges not reliant on difficulty Avoid things that makes it hard to track Jump King's basic jumping mechanic (such as skins that does not have a charge animation) Best Map additional rules Must be short (Between 5 and 20 screens) Must use at least (1) of the JumpKingPlus blocks from the mod on the workshop No use of 1, 2 and 3-frame jumps -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How To Participate: Create your workshop item, upload it to the Jump King Steam Workshop with a working thumbnail (50kb max), 1 Screenshot and "" or any other mention of it being an Event-Submission in your Workshop Item Description. Misjudge a particular jump by over- or undercharging it, maybe bounce back off a wall, and you may find yourself tumbling all the way back to the beginning again. It's probably about to get a bunch of even harder levels, however, because nearly five years after release it has just got Steam Workshop support and a new set of modding tools. Accessing mods to the game has been made easier than ever. Not only is the mods easy for the user, but also the creator! For more in depth information on how modding Jump King has been made easier READ HERE Jump King Workshop You will now find the workshop tab under the Jump King game. It features our own tags to sort content which is mainly 3 categories: - Levels - Skins - Mods (Gameplay/UI/etc altering types of mods) Subscribing to content can be done both in the Steam Application itself as well as through the In-Game menu in Jump King. You can keep your game open as you download new workshop content and simply load the update by clicking ESC (to refresh) within the main menu. Worldsmith https://store.steampowered.com/app/2245910/ In your library under tools (or if you search Jump King in the search-bar) you can find "Jump King Worldsmith ". It is a brand new tool we are working on to make modding Jump King as easy as possible. Right now it features preview-screens of the skin/level project you are working on as well as live-updates of your hitboxes even while testing it in-game!
