Forklift Simulator 2019

Forklift Simulator 2019 Development UpdateOct 7, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsTo our Community and Friends, Forklift Simulator 2019 has been a fun game to work on and we would love to continue development. The fact is, we’ve had to make tough decisions about which products we can afford to continue developing. So we decided to pause development of Forklift Simulator 2019. Unless something drastic changes, there are no more product updates planned. We had great hopes for the game and even wanted to grow it into a franchise, bigger than just Forklifts. We dreamed of driving massive equipment around in VR, but that dream is hung up for now. It was always our goal to find a partner or publisher who could help us in our Marketing and Community-building efforts. Since the beginning of the year, we have had continued discussions with potential partners, but the game didn’t catch on like we wished, and with no partner to assist us we had to focus our team on other projects – though, we hope Forklift Simulator 2019’s savior is still out there and can help us revive the development of this great game. We have a great community and great fans. We appreciate all the comments, positive and negative. All feedback is helpful. We feel terrible that we cannot deliver the product we envisioned. We apologize for the lack of communication over these last several months. We hoped for news that would allow us to send a super positive update, talking about a great partnership and more features coming to the game, but that was not the case. For now, we wish you well in your forklifting fun. Kindly, -The Forklift Simulator 2019 Development Team P.S. We will continue to support the game as much as we can. You can still email [email protected] for customer support questions.Early Access Patch Notes - 01.10.2018Jan 10, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsHappy New Year Everyone, Welcome to 2019! We’re so happy to be back in the office and working on Forklift Simulator 2019 In only a couple of days we’ve been able to make good progress on the game. Build Notes Added Order Picker Forklift Fixed bug that caused the brake to be on all the time when Oculus controllers were connected Ability to switch languages during an exercise Minor text fixes during loading screen Fixed issue with Silver Trophies showing the Gold Icon We are still working to get the peripherals working properly when running through steam. We are also working hard to get the controller customization screen integrated. We have plans in the works for new forklift attachments and pallet types. Some of that content could be in as early as next week. Thanks to you, our forklift fans, for supporting us and hanging in there during our Early Access phase. Without you we couldn’t keep doing what we’re doing. We could use even more feedback. Please write on the forums or to our email. We read EVERYTHING you send us and we respond to EVERY piece of mail: [email protected] Also, tune in to our Twitch channel every Tuesday at 2pm Pacific: https://www.twitch.tv/blindsquirrelgames We regularly show off the new features of Forklift Simulator 2019 and you can ask the team questions during the stream. Our past episodes are up there as well. - Forklift Simulator Team Early Access Patch Notes - 12.20.2018Dec 21, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHappy Forking Holidays, This is our last update of 2018. ːsteamsadː We’ve been working hard on new modes and more content that we can roll out early next year. This update is lighter because several of our team are out for the holiday break. We focused on quality of life improvements, minor bug fixing, and some localization issues that arose from our last major update. Build Notes VR Motion Controls added to Side Stance Reach Truck VR controls can now be toggled ON as well as held on with the grip button (Highlighting a control and clicking will lock that control in, clicking again will release focus on that control) Added Deadman Pedal functionality on Side Stance Reach Truck (VR: Left Trigger, Keyboard: EQ, Gamepad: XY, Wheel: Clutch Pedal) Minor Localization Updates BUG FIX: TODO String when failing a mission BUG FIX: Next Exercise button returned to the completion screen Wheel Support Added… Sort Of (We’ve tested and confirmed the Logitech G29 Wheel works when running the game outside of steam. To do that Right Click Forklift Simulator 2019 in the steam library list. Click the Local Files tab. Click Brows Local Files… Run Forklift Simulator 2019 or the -VR shortcut. The wheel should work) Please post on the forums if you’re having troubles with the game and we’ll try to get a fix out for our next update on January 10th. As we mentioned previously, our team is taking some much needed time off for the holidays. We’ve had an incredibly busy year and 2019 is shaping up to be even more busy. We thank everyone who’s been supporting us and cheering us on. We also thank all the people who have joined our community. With your continued support we will have a full launch of Forklift Simulator 2019 with tons of game modes, content, training, and multiplayer! That said, we would love to hear from you even more. Please send us feedback on the forums or to our email. We read EVERYTHING you send us and we respond to EVERY piece of mail: Happy Holidays to you all! - Forklift Simulator Team [email protected]Early Access Patch Notes - 12.14.2018Dec 14, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHello Forklift Fans, We're posting this week's update a day late and a proverbial dollar short. We have a surprise for next week and we continue to add features and improve the game. BUILD NOTES Added New Forklift: Side Stance Reach Truck + Learning the Basics Lessons Added Full Localization Support and Temporary "Computer Translations" for 10 languages. French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish are now supported (If you want to help with translations please email us) The game now pauses when you open the pause menu Improved VR menu functionality, snaps to cardinal direction so you can always see it. KNOWN ISSUES No VR controller support for Side Stance Reach Truck Loading Screen Text is not localized "Next Lesson" button for some Side Stance Reach Truck lessons is missing Like I said, we are posting this update on Friday instead of our target date of Thursday for a few reasons. First, we desprately wanted to deliver the total rewrite of the control system into the game. This controller overhaul will add support for almost every wheel as well as tons of input devices you may be using. Second, almost all of our team is taking off early for the holidays. We wanted to pack as many updates into this build because there will only be a few of us left in the office for next week's update. On the topic of Holidays. We've had a long year and are looking forward to spending time with our families. We will be out of the office beginning 22.12.2018 and we will return 07.01.2019. After next week our next game update is scheduled for 10.01.2019. NEXT WEEK SURPRISE We have everything ready to roll out the controller system upgrade. We just need more time for testing such a major change. On Monday or Tuesday of next week we plan to upload a bonus update. This bonus update is in addition to our standard weekly update. NEXT WEEK'S UPDATE Next Thursday we are planning to add the virtual controls for the Side Stance Reach Truck, Bug Fixes for the Side Stance Reach Truck lesson completion, and Oculus controller support. Keep sending feedback we love it! Also, if you missed it, we have been playing Forklift Simulator 2019 on our Twitch channel. "Twitch Tuesdays at Two" (2pm Pacific) -Forklift Simulator 2019 TeamEarly Access Patch Notes - 12.06.2018Dec 6, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHello Forklift Fans, It's Thursday again and that means another update for Forklift Simulator 2019. Here are the notes: New Features Vive Control Support Added Vive Control Layout Added to Controls Menu https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/33908614/fe9f66ca23ec52d9627e2f4bd0c96dcf8a0b7079.jpg Display Option added to disable Tunnel Vision Vignette Display Option readded to reset VR headset location Forklift does not move when game is paused Non-VR camera is more realistic, cannot spin 360 when seated Non-VR camera can be reset by holding R3 Updates / Bug Fixes Keyboard Controls Updated Disabled legacy UI panel Mission Complete Screen Location in VR fixed VR Credits bug fixed We tried really hard to get wheel support in this patch. It turns out there are more than a few issues with that. So, we are modifying our input system which will allow us to support almost every wheel type ever made in addition to a bunch of other controller types. This should be in next week and it will also come with a full customization screen. You'll be able to modify the button mapping for all supported devices, Mouse and Keyboard, Controller, Wheel, and even some motion controls. In addition to wheel support, next week we are planning to introduce the side stance reach truck and it's associated training challenges. If things go really well, we might also have the first pass of localization complete. Thanks to everyone who's supporting us. We hope these updates are improving the game and making it better. Please let us know in the comments and on the discussion board. -Forklift Simulator 2019 TeamEarly Access Patch Notes - 11.29.2018Nov 29, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsDear Players, Welcome to the first offical patch notes for Forklift Simulator 2019!
